Care to join our team?

Best way to understand what we are all about and how best you can fit in while feeding your “soul”… go through our mini-orientation. Get to know our team,

our agencies, the programs and our campaigns.

Where to start? Here is a recommended 120 day assimilation plan…to get you going. 1. Meet with Willy our CEO and do the tour of the food bank within the first 2 weeks.2. Sit down with your Mentor (board mentor or committee mentor) to review the Orientation

packet – they will:• answer questions, show you the website, the blog, how to navigate to get information,

and discuss ways to get involved

3. Visit two agencies in the first 90 days4. Volunteer in a program in the first 90 -120 days5. Meet with COO Brooke to walk through operations process from receiving to distribution.

• Brooke and her staff could also assist in scheduling visit to two agencies in first 90 days and volunteering in a program in first 90 days such as Food For Children

6. At the end of the 120 days – report back to your Mentor on your observations and how we can improve our on-boarding/ assimilation processes.
