KE and FBI Cooperatingagainst Mob Violence

Following an up tick in moband gang related violence in theMetroplex, Knight Errant and theFBI have launched a joint task tocombat such criminal activity.

“We have made great stridesin reducing the power and influenceof the criminal cartels in Seattle,”said FBI Special Agent DaneCooper. “The fact that they areturning on one another is proof ofour success. But we do not wish tosee innocents caught in the crossfire”

“Knight Errant is pleased topartner with the FBI to keep peoplesafe and restrict the actions of thecriminal elements,” explained KEChief Gaddis.

Suspected mob relatedviolence has increased by 20% sincethe start of the year including suchhigh profile events as shoot outs onthe Interstate highway.

KE has flown in part of their‘Untouchables’ unit from Detroitwhile the FBI has brought in a thirty-person team from Washington. Thenew task force will be operating outof the Federal Annex in downtown.

Advance EnviroTechacquired by Horizon

Seattle’s own AdvanceEnviroTech has joined the Horizonfamily of companies it was announcedover the weekend. “Working withHorizon will give us a global reach forour environmentally friendlytechnologies,” said acting CEO ofAdvance Jamison Cassio-Vaugh.

Advanced EnviroTechemploys more than 350 people in theMetroplex and Horizon has announcedplans to expand production of thehydro-filter and purification plant todouble its capacity adding at least 75jobs when it is finished.

Aztechnology launches twoSeattle Telenovelas

Aztechnology hasannounced that it is producing twoSeattle-based telenovelas: “Azt-NW”focusing on two families fromAztlan and their new life in Seattle.And “Stormclouds” about a truckerwho gets pulled into the shadows.

Maria Lozoya is overseeingdevelopment of the series. “Peoplewant to see the world that they knowand everyone knows about Seattle. We want to give them a chance toexplore it from two very differentperspectives. This is why we intendto film in Seattle as much aspossible.”

While the lead actors in bothseries are Televisa regulars, much ofthe supporting cast will be drawn fromSeattle and surrounding areas. Opencasting calls will be announced on arolling schedule over the next fewweeks.

Seattle Stress defends againstTaipei Dragons at Home

The Stress is fighting to holdonto its place in the top four of theleague while the Dragons aim toclimb into that rarified group.

The Dragons have beenplaying very well this season havingacquired several talented new players. While the Stress has suffered criticalinjuries to key players and only theirstar defender Rodney “The Rod”Wallenstein is likely to return for thismatch.

Seattle Animal Parade thisWeekend

Seattlites can celebratetheir pets this weekend at theSeattle Animal Parade downtownwhich incorporates the SeattleDog Show and much more.

There is something foreveryone with a pet or for thosewho wish to get one. Animalswill be up for adoption along withclasses on how to care for pets ofall types.

The Seattle Dog Showwill be held alongside exhibits ofexotic animals and a petting zoo. Everything animal from urbanfarming to awaken para-animalswill be showcased.

“We hope to show peoplehow wonderful companionsanimals can be and how toproperly take care of our animalfriends,” said Luce VanBraun ofthe Seattle Animal Friends whohelped to organize this event.

The Animal Parade is freebut donations to help local animalshelters are welcome.

Moonshadow into Studioafter End of Successful Tour

Moonshadow heads into theRebel Entertainment studio havingcompleted his Pacific “Ashes ofMars” Tour. Which concluded torave reviews in San Francisco inFebruary with a three-night concertsequence dubbed “the Shadowrunimprove sessions” for the stagedactions sequences that ‘interrupted’the shows.

No word yet on what thenew album will be called or itstheme but rumors of guest artists arealready circulating widely.
