Principal’s Ponderings
A warm welcome to all new and returning families as the 2020 year
commences. This year promises to be a positive and exciting year as
we continually build upon past successes.
I need to convey the important pieces of information:
1. Parent Information Night - is being held on Tuesday 4th
February with two sessions being offered to assist parents with
multiple children.
A) 6.00pm—6.30pm
B) 6.40pm—7.10pm
It is important that at least one parent/caregiver is in attendance as
this evening provides the foundation for home and school
information sharing in relation to each child’s education.
2. Governing Council Annual General Meeting will be held on
Tuesday 18th February commencing at 7.00pm in the staffroom. All
parent/caregivers are welcome to attend.
3. School Crossing/Parking/Pick Up Zone
To ensure the safety of all students and adults, please abide by the
clear signage and instructions from school staff and crossing
monitors. Under no circumstances park across residential driveways.
Our students are now enjoying working in our remodelled ‘Arts
Room’ while students in year 3-7 have begun learning Science with
Mrs Marchetta in the school’s Science/Stem space.
Finally, please see your classroom teacher about any matters related
to your child’s learning, before you seek the assistance of leadership.
In doing so you recognise and honour the vital contribution our
teaching team (and SSOs) are making to each child’s educational
journey at Seaford Rise Primary School.
All the best for a wonderful year! Andrew Messenger
