Sderot Israel Holocaust Survivor Clubhouse Restoration Project
A project by IT IS TIME ISRAELItistimeisrael.org
Who Are We?
We are IT IS TIME ISRAEL, a Christian organization, founded by Bart and Carolyn Peacher who have been called to help natural Israel understand her calling and place in these last days.
Additionally, to help the Body of Christ comprehend this mission in light of the promise in Romans 11:25-27 that when the Gentile world enters its fullness then all Israel will be saved.
When Israel, as a nation, honors God with the entire Gentile world watching, then He will seal their safety. Our logo encapsulates this from Ezekiel 28:25-26
Our Mission Statement-Support Israel in any way possible in both Spiritual and material matters. …For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things. Rom 15:27
-Help all Jews and Gentiles (believers and nonbelievers) come to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob through the Messiah Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha-Mashiach) and to understand Israel’s calling, that it is time in history for the Jewish people to come and take their rightful place in the Body of Christ and to openly honor God in the land of Israel
- Support Jewish and non Jewish ministries and organizations to the end that all will know the true and living God
The Project
IT IS TIME ISRAEL is deeply honored to accept the Sderot Holocaust Survivor’s Clubhouse Restoration Project. This venture, offered to us by Israel’s Goodwill Ambassador Earl Cox, is basically a construction renovation project providing a secure facility where approximately 500 Holocaust survivors and other elderly Israeli’s meet to fellowship and break bread together. We have visited this place and found amidst an old, but structurally sound, building are precious elderly faces excited about the prospect of having a modern working facility suitable to their needs.
Sderot is a southwestern Israeli city near the Gaza border. These elderly folks would be blessed to know that their lives matter.
They are getting on in years but we still have time to help them find some comfort in their twilight years.
We can get it done together. Love never fails!

Letter From Sara, our Israeli Project Manager From Sara: Approximately 500 Holocaust survivors, from 2300 of the elderly population, live in Sderot. Most are Russian speakers who came to Israel in the early
2000’s, directly to Sderot. After World War II and the German occupation several thousand Jewish refugees survived the concentration camps and ghettos. More than half came to
Israel and the rest immigrated to the US, Canada and other countries in central and Western Europe. During the War of Independence about half the fighters in the Jewish defense forces and the IDF were Holocaust survivors. Many were killed in battle. Most Holocaust survivors chose to be silent and not to talk about their experiences, feelings and emotions that were locked inside them. Only after the Eichmann Trial in the 1960s did the situation start to change and these feelings were legitimized, told and documented. Thus, the Holocaust
survivors became a living bridge between now and then. The survivors have been suffering since the end of the war until today in many ways, from physical, mental and spiritual scars. The trauma of their
experiences continues throughout their lives. The survivors were not able to deal with the loss of their beloved families, who were murdered in cold blood, and were involved in their own personal
survival – the fact that they had been given life at the expense of others engraved deep scars on their souls. Despite this, many succeeded in rebuilding their lives, raising new families and developing flourishing careers. Many Holocaust survivors from the FSU arrived in Israel with no belongings other than the clothes they were wearing and the education they had received
in their countries of origin. They worked for only few years in Israel and were not able to accumulate property, pension rights, etc. Therefore, they live on minimum old age stipends
and social benefits from the National Insurance Institute, so small stipend which is not sufficient for even the most basic needs. We hope to help them and allow them to live their remaining years with respect, and alleviate their loneliness as much as possible. After undergoing a process of ventilation with the help of professionals, a secured club, which is close to their home, was made useable for Holocaust
survivors. In order to help the remaining Holocaust survivors in Sderot we wish to provide them a secured building that must be urgently renovated, to give a feeling
of calm and fun, when used for social activities, lectures, performances, etc.
Why Should I Help?God is pleased with a cheerful giver, especially when the gift is from His called people to the house of Jacob, Israel.
If you find it in your heart to support this project with finances, these are three of many Scriptures that support your decision:
Genesis 12:2-3 (God speaking to the future nation of Israel)I will make of you a great nation, I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you are to be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” CJB
Luke 16:9 “Now what I say to you is this: use worldly wealth to make friends for yourselves, so that when it gives out, you may be welcomed into the eternal home. CJB
Romans 15:24For if the Gentiles have shared with the Jews in spiritual matters, then the Gentiles clearly have a duty to help the Jews in material matters. CJB
