Scene 1 Shot 1 : Classroom scene

Camera: Extreme long shot

No narration, a wide scene of the classroom, there are students chit chatting, and people is discussing about the course subject that they are taking; iMovie and Photoshop.

Camera: Full shot

The teacher comes into the class, a feel of intimidating and strict. He is not smiling and looking serious all the time. He is holding some books and marker pens.

Camera: Medium long shot

The teacher starts teaching: Dialogue: All right class, today I am going to teach you some techniques and tricks to edit your photos through Photoshop. I dont have to explain much I assumed some of you already know it, so its like this.

The teacher teach very fast and not a moment slowing down.

Camera: Medium close up shot

A girl named Charlotte seems lost in the class, looking around, wandering, and even trying to ask people who is sitting besides her.

Camera: Over the shoulder shots

The teacher continues with his teaching without slowing down and assumed everyone has done the task that he has assigned to and asked the whole class:

Dialogue: Okay, so this is how we do it. Please raise up your hand if you have done all the steps that I teach just now. Scene 1 Shot 6

Camera: Wide shot

Charlotte is panicking and feeling helpless. The other two students whom sitting on her left and on her right are raising their hands at the same time, except her.

The teacher assumed that everyone gets the steps of using the complicated Photoshop to edit the photos and so he continues with his teaching without stopping.

Dialogue: All right then, lets get into the most difficult part, what you have to do is

The lecturer as usual talks very fast, and not stopping at all, and not noticing there is actually one student is panicking and losing track in his class.

Camera: Medium close-up shot

Motion: Panning from left to right

Charlotte is feeling helpless as she has a lot to catch up , and she just cant follow the steps that are given by the lecturer as he is teaching very fast. She decides to ask the girl who is sitting on her right and on her left.

Dialogue:Charlotte: Hi, may I know what is the tool for making the picture size change from big to small, and without shrinking it? Girl on the right: Shh, I am trying to focus here.

Charlotte: err okay .. sorry

Charlotte is not giving up , and try to ask the girl who sitting on her left.

Charlotte: Excuse me, may I know howThe girl chip in with saying: If youre slow, you shouldnt be taking this class, between, I dont talk during Mr.Tehs class. Dont drag me down.

Camera: Rack Focus shot

Motion: Blurred out everyone, focus on Charlotte

Charlotte is feeling helpless, trying to hold back her tears and trying to calm herself down. She takes a deep breath and raise up her hand earnestly and says : Sir!

Camera: Long Shot

This has caught the lecturers attention, and he looks up at Charlotte and stops his teaching. He looked intimidatingly at Charlotte and asked: Yes?

Charlotte put down her hand and try to ask the steps that she doesnt understand.

Dialogue: Charlotte: Sir I am sorry to interrupt, may I know how to adjust the image size and without shrinking it?

The lecturer puts down his marker pen, and look offensive.

Dialogue:

Lecturer: Why didnt you ask questions at the first place? Do you know how many steps you need to catch up on? We are already in Step 16, and you are still wandering at step 8? I am so sorry to tell you that I need to continue as there are people who really concentrate and follow my guidance fast. You shall see me after class.

Charlotte felt embarrassed and sad, she was scolded by the lecturer in front of the whole class. She is holding her hands tight and looking down at her own computer. She can hear people is laughing at her, mocking at her, and two girls who are sitting beside her trying to hold their laughter.

The teaching session is still going on, and everyone is facing their computers earnestly and having their Photoshop lesson. Lecturer is teaching and everyone understands what he meant. The only who stop touching the computer and looking computer screen is Charlotte, all she did was stunning there and feeling alone. She felt darkness and sadness, that no one is willing to help her. After 10 minutes, the class has finally ended.

Camera: Medium Full shot

The class has ended. Everyone is leaving except Charlotte. Charlotte then stand up and walk up to the lecturer.

Camera: Over the shoulder shot

The lecturer is looking at the computer screen and checking on the marks that he usually jot down based on the class performance of the student. He checked on Charlotte marks, and she gets the lowest mark in the class. He starts to push his glasses and says:

Dialogue: Lecturer: Charlotte Yong, your class performance in this subject is lowest. May I know what is the cause of this?

Charlotte is holding her both hands and looking down. She responses weakly:

Dialogue: Charlotte: I am so sorry sir, but sometimes I dont understand what you are teaching as your teaching speed is hard for me to catch up. Its hard for me to ask questions as well where no one is actually willing to help me..

Lecturer pushed his glasses up again and says; Dialogue: Lecturer: I guess you could drop this subject if my speed of teaching is too fast for you. I guess everyone learn the same way you do, so why are you the only one who gets the lowest mark and has the worse class performance. You have to figure the best way of learning by yourself. No one would help you unless you help yourself. I dont expect much expectations from you, but .. maybe one day you should improve.

Scene 2 Shot 1: Living room scene

Maybe you should improve you should find your own learning wayThese words keep on reminding Charlotte what the lecturer has told her while she was watching television with her sister. They are watching movies and eating chips.

The sister eats the chip and at the same time asking Charlotte:

Dialogue: Sister: Hey, this actor looks so familiar. Do you know who he is? I watched this like few times, still cant really remember himCharlotte: Its Robert Pattinson. Sister: Wow! Im impressed! You just watched this movie for like second time, you could remember though. Alright, lets play a game. Guess what would he say for his next line. Charlotte: Easy, he would say: Say it, say it out loud, what do we eat?

Motion: zoom in to the television

The scene in the television really displayed the word, Say it , say it out loud , what do we eat .

The sister felt surprised and even stop eating the chips. She is amazed by her sisters memory in visuals.

Dialogue: Sister: Hey , you are actually good in memorizing the lines of the movie dont you? Did you like watch it several times already, thats why you remember whats he going to say? Charlotte: Not really, I just watched it once, but I can remember better with watching motion picture. Sister: I see, well lets try another scene. Okay, what about the next scene? What would the woman say>? Charlotte: She will not saying anything, because its a scene where shes sobbing. Scene 2 Shot 5

Motion: Zooming in to the television

The television is displaying the girl sobbing without talking anything. Charlottes sister is impressed with her memory in motion pictures.

Scene 2 Shot 6

Dialogue: Sister: Hey you are smart and good at thiss!!! Im impressed!!!!

The sister is so encouraging that even makes Charlotte feels embarrassed and sad about what happened in the class.

Charlotte: NO! IM NOT SMART. If I am smart, I could keep up with others, and understand what my lecturer is teaching, but I do not know what is going in the class! No one is helping me and they even mock at me!

Sister: Err. Maybe you should try another style of learning?

The sister is shocked with Charlottes emotions and trying to confront her.

Scene 2 Shot 6

Camera: Track shot

Motion: Follow the walking movement from living room to Charlottes bedroom

Charlotte was so fed up at herself, and ignore what her sister confrontation. She just go in her own room and slammed it out everything. She is angry. She is furious at everything that happened in the class.

Scene 3 Shot 1: Bedroom scene

Camera: Wide shot

Charlotte is lying down on her bed and wanders things that happened in the class. She is crying under her blanket and wishing not going to the class again.

Charlotte fell asleep with her crying. Then, she dreamt of a fairy coming near to her and provides her guidance. The Fairy flies around and wanders near her, and finally come to her bedside.Scene 3 Shot 3

Camera: Close up shot

The Fairy comes near to Charlotte and tell her something; Hey! Consider this, dont you? Why not you try to learn something in different way, its 20th century now! Explore online learning forum will you? You are good at motion pictures , dont you?

These words have been repeating in Charlottes mind and it keeps on reflecting in her mind over and over again.

The Fairy disappears once Charlotte is awake. She did not notice that its morning already. However, she is clearly aware that the fairy is not a dream. She still remembers what it says.

Flashback narration: You are good in learning when it comes to motion pictures.. try out online learning forum

Charlotte got up from the bed and open up her laptop, and starts to do some research on any online learning forum that she could attend to.

Scene 4 Shot 6

Camera: Over the shoulder shot

Charlotte earnestly finding the websites where she could learn Photoshop online, and she keeps on finding online forum that allows her to understand Photoshop more. Finally she has joined in an online forum which called Udemy, it is an online forum, the websites allows student to comment about the course, and there are discussion about the course.

Charlotte is very happy when she has finally found the suitable online learning forum where she could ask questions and learn through watching videos where the video content is listening to what the visual lecturer teaching as well as demonstrating how to Photoshop the images in easy way.

Charlotte watches the videos again and again, and even repeating it after she watched it. She felt comfortable with this kind of learning style and she is able to learn it with her own pace.

Charlotte is very hardworking in taking notes, and she even plays the learning videos before she sleeps, when she eats and while she is doing her housework. She still watching the videos whenever she wants and wherever she wants.

In Udemy, Charlotte participates in online quizzes in Udemy as she finds it very interesting.

Dialogue: Charlotte: This is interesting.. I should try this out.

After tried out the quiz, she was able to answer it correctly and the things she does not know before has overcame by her. She felt productive and even happier each day.

Scene 5 Shot 1: Classroom scene

The classroom as usual noisy, and students are chit chatting around while waiting for the lecturer to come in. The class is suddenly quiet as Charlotte comes in the class, and when she passes by, there are people even bad-mouthed behind her.

Charlotte knows they are all eyeing on her, but she did not care. She just sits down and opens up her laptop, getting all ready, and put a smile on her face.

The other two girls came in to the classroom afterwards, and before they sitting down next to Charlotte, they starts mocking at her, again.

Dialogue: Girl1: Oh look, theres the limelighter. Girl2: HAHA, hopefully she doesnt use her slow learning mind to drag the whole class down Both: HAHAHHAHAA.

Charlotte looks at her computer still, looking calm and still smiling. She doesnt care about what the girls saying but smile at them. The girls are surprised with her reactions and just ignored and sit beside her.

Camera: Full shot

The lecturer came in finally, and with a more serious look and intimidating as usual. Putting down his book, and straight to the point:

Dialogue: Lecturer: All right, today I will give you guys a short quiz about what we have learned for the past few weeks and I hope you guys do study a little. Students who get lowest mark will have to stay back for extra hours, and extra class.

Motion: Panning from left to right of the classroom surroundings

The classroom gets noisy again, some of them are groaning, some of them are complaining and some of them are even laughing, not even care about the quiz.

Scene 5 Shot 7

The classroom is chaotic, but only Charlotte thinks this is the best time to prove her learning styles and she can score better in incoming quiz.

Camera: Full Shot

The lecturer ignores the chaotic situation and continues talking:

Dialogue: Lecturer: All right, this will be the 20 marks quiz. I will give you a link, just click to it and start doing the quiz, its an online quiz! Good luck.

Charlotte clicks on the link, and see all the questions. Voiceover: They are easy! Charlotte thought this to herself. She did it fast and being cautious with every question. There is even one question asking to demonstrate how to adjust the image size without shrinking it , and Charlotte even answer this in details based on the memory of watching the online course videos that she watched at home.

Camera: Wide Shot

After few minutes, the lecturer asked:

Dialogue: Lecturer: OKAY! Who has already done the quiz?

Charlotte raise up her hand, then she looked around and theres no one has finished the quiz yet, and she is first one who has completed the quiz. Everyone looked surprised and looked at her. Girls who are sitting beside her even shocked to see that Charlotte is the first one to finish the quiz.

At the same time, the Lecturer was shocked at the fact that Charlotte was the first one who finished the quiz. Then he says;

Dialogue:Lecturer: O..kay erm Ill mark the quiz with those who already finish

The lecturer is being shocked at what the computer screen displayed. 10/10 full marks are given to Charlotte and she was the first one who has completed the quiz. The lecturers expect that no one could get full marks at the quiz because he has set it in difficult level.

Scene 6 Shot 1: Practical tutorial class

Camera: Wide shot

As usual, the lecturer is teaching new things in how to Photoshop human body and all kinds of things. And every once he asked that, raise up your hand if you have done this step, Charlotte will be always the first one who raise up her hand. Day by day , in every class, Charlotte gave her best class performance and slowly, from the bottom , she gets to the top.

When the class is ended, everyone is leaving and Charlotte is packing up her things. Then, the two girls who is sitting near to her went and ask her;

Dialogue: Girl1: Did you like just cheat in class or what? A magic trick? How come you learn things faster nowadays, and you even know things before lecturer is teaching us? Girl2 : YA. How do you do that ?

Both crossing their arms , and Charlotte just smiled back at them and says:

Charlotte: OH, do you guys remember that you told me to learn things by MYSELF. I do learn things by myself, in anytime at anywhere.

Then, she leaves the class with confidence, leaving the two girls standing there stunned.

Scene 7 Shot 1: From college to home and to her room

Narrations: Sometimes you think is hard to catch up in class, missed out and neglected by the class easily, just because you do not follow their pace of learning. Try online course videos, you could watch the person who talks, and you could rewind it many times you want, and learn at your own pace. You want to be smart, is not just attending class, learning through online video course as well making you understands better.

Camera: Point of view shot

Charlotte is driving back from college to her house and opens up her laptop. She is happy and being confidence, as usual, learning through online course videos, she enjoys learning and thinking learning is no longer a difficult thing to do, but a fun learning process.
