ALEXA (17) Blonde hair girl, runs around the corner of the street. She slips but manages to hold on to the wall to stop her from falling over. ALEXA gathers herself and continues running until she gets to her house.

EXT. ALEXAS BEDROOM DAYTIME

ALEXA runs into her house and closes the door behind her. She then slides down the door and wipes the blood off her face thats dripping from her nose. She starts to relax when she hears someone knock on her door really loudly. She jumps in shock and scrambles to get off the floor and runs to her bedroom. She slams the door to her bedroom and freezes in panic before until she realises that she needs to hide, so ALEXA rushes to her wardrobe, flings the doors of it open and clambers into it.

EXT. GARDEN DAYTIME

ALEXA is on the ground (as if she had just fallen out of her wardrobe) wearing different clothing and her hair is styled in 70s like fashion. The garden fits the time period (1972s) and there is another girl in the garden with her. This girl, CLARISSA, is in period clothing and is sitting having a picnic. ALEXA gets up and looks around in a confused fashion and notices CLARISSA.ALEXAWhere am I?

CLARISSA looks up and smiles at her and laughs

CLARISSA Youre in a garden, my back garden to be precise. (Pause) Dont you remember that I invited you over for a picnic?

ALEXAIs this some kind of joke! I dont even know you and what year is this any way!

CLARISSA picks up a newspaper and hands it over to ALEXA. ALEXA takes the newspaper and looks at the date in shock.CLARISSA Its 1975. Are you feeling all right ALEXA? ALEXAHow is this possible? I was in my wardrobehiding from how do you know my name!? I dont even know you!CLARISSA Of course I know your name! Im your friend! You must have hit your head. (Sarcastically) Im CLARISSA by the way if you forgot.

CLARISSA rolls her eyes and stands up. She then walks over to ALEXA and tries to gently lead her to the picnic blanket. As she sits down, ALEXA finally notices her new attire and is perplexed.ALEXAThis is insane! What the hell am I wearing!?CLARISSA (Sarcastically) Well you did say you were in a wardrobe.

ALEXAYeah I was in a wardrobe! I was running fromCLARISSANo, weve been planning this picnic for a week, how do you not remember?

ALEXAThis cant be happening I was running from those girls. They were chasing me, I cant remember why though. I just know I had to get away CLARISSAMaybe you were dreaming.

ALEXA ponders the thought for a few moments before replying.ALEXA(Dazed)I guess that makes sense but it felt so real

Both CLARISSA and ALEXA pause and the awkward silence is broken by CLARISSACLARISSA(Excitedly)Gosh all this talk about a silly dream has got you all worked up ALEXA! You almost made me forget that I have something to give to you!

CLARISSA opens up the picnic basket and picks up a small box covered with tissue paper and a ribbon.CLARISSAI thought I would get you an early birthday gift! I couldnt wait till next week!

CLARISSA holds out the present and gestures for ALEXA to take it.ALEXAThis is the so weird (In a grateful tone) uhh you shouldnt have (Awkwardly) thank you.

ALEXA gingerly takes the present.

CLARISSAOpen it now! I cannot wait to see how much you like my gift!

ALEXA slowly opens the gift feeling very guilty for not being able to remember her friend. CLARISSA looks on whilst drinking from a straw in a Coke bottle. The gift is two bracelets that look like they are part of a set. ALEXA is guilt-ridden as she realises that the bracelets are friendship bracelets.CLARISSA(Upset) Do you not like it? ALEXANo I love the braceletsCLARISSA I got them so you could always remember that we are friends, (smirks) if you remember me at all!ALEXA(Bemused) Its not my fault, I came from a wardrobe.

CLARISSA starts to laugh. CLARISSA Well whether you remember me or not, would you like some help putting the bracelet on?

ALEXA nods and CLARISSA helps her with her bracelet. ALEXA does the same for her. The scene then fades out and fades back in, to show time passing. Their cokes are finished and ALEXA looks more comfortable around CLARISSA.

CLARISSAOh gosh look at the time! I didnt realise how late it was! I guess we should and get inside before it gets chilly.

ALEXA yawns and realises how tired she is and CLARISSA notices. CLARISSA(Laughing) you tired arent you!ALEXAIm notALEXA blacks out and is suddenly back in the wardrobe.ALEXATired ALEXA gets out of her wardrobe in shock and jumps when she hears the doorbell go and hears people shouting. But she also hears someone elses voice through all the shouting. UNKNOWN Shes not in girls, come back some other time.

ALEXA waits until the other girls are gone and looks out her bedroom window. She sees an older woman walking past. As ALEXA stares at her, the older woman looks back and waves at her. She goes to open the window and the sleeve on her top slides down her wrist revealing the friendship bracelet. She realises the woman has a matching bracelet to hers. ALEXA waves back to the woman and the woman then walks away without looking back. ALEXA smiles.

ALEXA (Whispers) Bye CLARISSA.
