Overview

Antenna to be installed above stairway.

Hardware to be installed inside MCC module.

SIO HF Radar Components

Antenna – active components housed in fiberglass mast (~25 feet ~75lbs). Cable access on side of antenna.

Cables – group of 3 cables, 2 RG58 U and 1 RG 8. Approximately 1 inch diameter (without connectors).

Hardware – Codar Transmitter (2U), Codar Receiver (2U), UPS (2U) and MacMini on rack mounted shelf (2U).

Cable bundle consists of

1ea/ RG8/U type, 11 AWG stranded (7x19) .108" bare copper conductor, foam polyethylene insulation, bare copper braid shield (97% coverage), PVC jacket.

2 ea/ RG 58 type, 19 AWG solid .037” bare copper conductor, gas-injected foam HDPE insulation, Duofoil (100% coverage) + tinned copper braid shield (90% coverage), polyethylene jacket.
