As managing contractor, Lendlease, formerly Bovis Lend Lease, required a curing and waterproofing agent that was as flexible and sustainable as the design of the project.

OVERVIEW

The Department of Finance at One Canberra is the pinnacle of construction innovation, designed to have the lowest energy consumption while providing the maximum occupant in comfort. Featuring open frameworks, a central atrium, a three-story underground parking structure and two interconnected 5-story buildings above ground, the project required the highest performing concrete possible. SCP Technology was selected to be the superior curing and waterproofing agent. The zero VOC solution ensured that this structure will function as a center of Australian government for years without remediation.
