firm serves believe that another in-dividual may have been responsible for their injuries, and Baron and his associates work to make each per-son feel at ease in the midst of cri-sis. “Every single client has an entire legal team behind his or her claim,” explains Baron, who notes that it is both a duty and a privilege to protect his clients to the fullest extent of the law.

Since Scott Baron & Associates, P.C. is a personal injury firm, Baron and his team of attorneys represent clients who are involved in disputes alleging wrongdoing or damage to another person’s rights, reputa-tion, or property. Cases could center around automobile accidents, defec-tive products, infliction of emotional distress, intentional misconduct, or

negligence. Some cases that Baron and his attorneys commonly handle include dog bites, slip and fall inju-ries, and wrongful death claims. Ac-cording to Baron, although an injury sustained may be minor or small, the client may still be entitled to signifi-cant monetary damages and recov-ery of medical expenses.

Scott Baron & Associates, P.C. aims not only to handle each client’s case strategically, but also to help restore harmony to his or her life following the dramatic experience. Baron understands that choosing a law firm is a difficult decision, and can guarantee that at Scott Baron & Associates, clients will be efficiently guided through the legal process, from the initial consultation, all the way through the completion of the

case, and even after the case has been closed. Baron makes it a prior-ity to get to know his clients just as well as he knows his staff. “Over 25 years of experience in this business has taught me that a qualified and dedicated team is always better than a solo act,” says Baron.

A strong upbringing with an em-phasis on the importance of hard work helped shape Baron into the businessman that he is today, ex-plains longtime friend and president of the New York State Court Officers Association, Dennis Quirk. “Scott’s mother raised two sons by herself, both of whom grew up to be very successful, which really says some-thing,” notes Quirk. “Scott now has three great sons of his own, and if you spend any time around them,

you will see how respect-ful they are, which is a true testament to how he brought them up.” Ac-cording to Quirk, who has known Baron and his fam-ily for over 30 years, these admirable character traits are what his law practice is built upon. “Scott is an ex-cellent attorney who pro-vides top-quality service,” says Quirk. “Not only is he very professional, but he is also extremely caring to-wards every client, which helps him to do a great job

with every case that the firm handles.”

After being raised in Howard Beach, earning a SUNY undergraduate de-gree, and eventually a St. John’s University law de-gree, Baron developed a deep appreciation for the community of New York-ers that surrounds him each day. Baron and his associates strive to give a great deal back to the com-munity that has supported their firm over the past 20 years. In addition to pro-

viding aid to underprivi-leged children each year, Baron participates in the annual NBA Cares week-end, in which he is invited to work with NBA athletes on a community build-ing project. This past year, Baron and the athletes par-ticipated in the Kaboom Playground Build. In past years, Baron has traveled across the country to par-take in the event, visiting cities including New Or-leans and Houston.

“Scott Baron and his

practice are integral parts of the Queens communi-ty,” says New York State Senator Joseph Addab-bo, who has worked with Baron over the course of several years. “In Howard Beach and beyond, Scott and his team treat each personal injury case with care and professionalism, whether it be a car crash or an incident of negligence. Scott’s charity and volun-teer work also speak to his dedication to the general public. I admire his efforts

in contributing columns to our local papers and par-ticipating in community events.”

Baron has also made significant contributions to the Seton Foundation for Learning, which pro-vides assistance to chil-dren with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. “He does a lot of charitable work for a lot of different organizations, but he has always been instrumental in supporting the founda-tions that I’m involved in, including the Seton Foun-

dation for Learning,” says Quirk, who is the board chair of the organization. “He always comes forward when we reach out to him for assistance, and he’s made significant monetary contributions. He really is a stand-up guy.”

Baron says that he attri-butes the longtime success of his firm to the strong team that he works with, noting that some employ-ees have been with Scott Baron & Associates, P.C. since the doors first opened in 1994. “There is staff has

been with me from the start,” says Baron. “Their experience, combined with the strong talent we con-stantly recruit, make our team atmosphere one-of-a-kind.”

As Baron reflects on the past 20 years, he is also looking firmly ahead to-wards the future. “We will continue to focus on cut-ting-edge technology and evolving case law, and we will continue those per-sonal relationships that we have formed with our cli-ents,” he explains. “While

20 years are behind us, we are looking forward to a lifetime of relationships and continued success.” For around-the-clock in-formation and up-to-the-minute news about the firm, visit www.scottbar-onassociates.com.
