My wife and I feel very blessed to have St. Paul’s in our lives. The congregation has been welcoming and receptive to us. The clergy made a point to get to know us and have always been there for us in time of need or grief. We feel St. Paul’s is a great blend of a “big-city” church and a “neighborhood “ parish. Each time we attend a service, we leave feeling renewed and uplifted, and like we have heard the Word of God. St. Paul’s is my spiritual home, built on a caring, involved congregation, an inspiring, supportive clergy and a dedicated, tireless staff. So much more than its remarkable physical presence, St. Paul’s is a friendly, welcoming and active church where congregants and visitors alike can come together for education, outreach, pastoral support, meaningful liturgy, beautiful worship spaces and uplifting music. It offers my family and me a sense of belonging and support, a second home, a sanctuary. We have a rich history but are growing toward an exciting, shared future. There are ministry opportunities for everyone to act and serve Christ and our community. Our family first came to St. Paul’s because of the opportunities for children, ranging from Preschool, choir, formation and special programs. But there are ways for all ages and interests to serve, learn and grow. That’s exciting. It would be an honor to serve and offer my gifts to St. Paul’s on the Vestry. St. Paul’s is our church home, the spiritual home base for our family. We are not cradle Episcopalians and are so grateful to have landed here to continue our spiritual journey through liturgy and fellowship. It is especially meaningful to witness our children and their peers grow in their faith. I want to use my gifts to inspire and encourage others and position St. Paul’s to further our mission in fulfilling God’s will. It is an exciting time!
