TUES PHONICS- REVISE ‘igh’ and ‘oa’ WATCH THE LINKS OF:igh (high)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYCR2RZ4ZYY ‘igh' is what we call a trigraph (three letters making 1 sound. When we put a sound button on ‘igh’, we use a line underneath it (we call this a sausage). The other sounds, where 1 letter makes one sound, it is called a single grapheme – we put a dot underneath these sounds and call this a band alsooa (boat)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCJyHN0IFE8‘oa’ is what we call a vowel digraph (two vowels making 1 sound. When we put a sound button on ‘oa', we use a line underneath it (we call this a sausage). NUMBER -ADDITIONComplete the ‘Goldilocks and the Three bears Addition Sheets. (see below)Select an appropriate level for your child.

Alternatively, make up your own sums and use objects to help you find the totals. Keep to answers below 20 – children should be confident using objects and resources when working with smaller numbers rather than bigger numbers.

TECHNOLOGY Create a picture from the story of ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ on your iPad/computer using a paint/graphics programme.
