Teaching and learning materials Community participation in school
management Trained teachers/facilitators/heads (in-
service and pre-service training) to provide children with quality education and basic life skills

The UNICEF/U.S. Fund addresses the unique needs of children in the SFA campaign. While you cannot designate how your gift will be used or in what country it will go, you can feel secure that it is being used where it is needed the most.

A learner kit for one student in Mozambique and Mali which contains a bag, stationery, mini atlas, and math tables ($10)
Learning materials for ten children in Zimbabwe and Malawi ($45)

Three-day training workshop for a teacher in Rwanda benefiting about 1,200 children ($125)
Schools-in-a-box kit in Burkina Faso containing learning materials for 80 school children and includes transportation cost ($250)

Schools for Africa:YOUR DONATION MIGHT BE USED TO PROVIDE:
Special support/grant for 40 orphans in South Africa ($1500)
Installment of a safe water point in a school in Madagascar ($4800)
Construction of a classroom in Niger and a library in Ethiopia including equipping it with furniture and materials ($14,000)
