2018 DIVISION SPORTS CLINIC

To: Division/District SupervisorsSec.lElem. School Principals/OICsSchool Heads of Private Schools

1. In preparation for the 2018 Provincial Athletic Meet and 2019 Central Luzon RegionalAthletic Association Meet, the 2018 Division Sports Clinic will be conducted in September2018.

2. The objectives of the sports clinic are:

a. To enhance the coaching and officiating skills of teachers who will serve in theprovincial and regional athletic meets.

b. To provide accreditation to coaches and officials for Provincial Athletic Meet andCLRAA Meet.

3. The following are the details of the sports clinic:

4. The participants are elementary and secondary public and private school teachers. In theelementary level, each district must send at least one (1) participant per sport event. In thesecondary level, each school may send one participant per sport event. MAPEH Dept.Heads and Coordinators should coordinate to ensure that every municipality has aparticipant per sport event. School Heads who are interested to officiate during athleticmeets are welcome to attend the training. Private schools may also send participants in anyevent.

5. District Supervisors and School Heads should ensure that participants are physically fit toundergo the training.

6. Participants should be in sports attire and should bring equipment, ie: rackets, chessboard/clock, whistle, arnis sticks, balls, timer, etc.

7. One (1) day service credit will be given to participants (public school only) upon submissionof pertinent documents.

8. Schools that will serve as venues should be ready to accommodate live in participants fromfar places. Participants should coordinate with the school head.

9. Attached herewith is Enclosure No. 1 which is the list of technical committee and resourcespeakers.

10. Meal allowance of participants, resource speakers, TWG and demo-athletes, honorarium ofspeakers, certificates and other materials are chargeable against Division INSET Fundsubject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

11.AII resource speakers, monitors and TWG will have a meeting on Aug. 31,2018, 1:00 PM,Guiguinto Central School, Guiguinto, Bulacan.

12.This memorandum will serve as travel authority of the participants.

13. Wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired to ensure cooperation of all concerned.
