Should schools really have dress code for frays above the

knee?

Some people think it’s necessary to put frays/holes above the knee in dress code, and

some people think it’s absolutely ridiculous. Students, teachers, and parents all probably

have different opinions on this. We have interviewed people to see what they think. “I

think it’s dumb because there is no point of getting in trouble for it especially if it doesn’t

show your skin, “says Robbie Maloy, a student at EPHS. “It’s utterly stupid because it

hardly shows your skin! “Says John Kercher, another student at EPHS. “I don’t think it’s a

big deal so I don’t see a problem with it. I guess it’s against dress code because some

people take it to the extreme, but all I’ve ever seen are little ones that don’t bother

me,” says Mrs. Townsend, the computer Applications teacher at EPHS. “I’m sure there

are a lot of people that take it too far and that is why it’s against dress code, but the

ones a lot of people have I think should be school appropriate,” Says a parent at EPHS.

“Sometimes they’re funny, unless they’re about you.”-Robbie Maloy

“They cause too much drama!”-Jennifer Caballero

“They’re all drama.”-Joseph Ruff

“Rumors can either hurt you physically or emotionally and they’re usually dishonest”-Lacy Martins

“Rumors and bullying is pretty much the same thing, they both cause the same amount of damage.” –

Anonymous

Even though rumors can be funny and harmless, most times they can cause emotional

damage. They can all be fun and games until you find out that they’re about you.

Rumors and bullying are not a thing to joke around about. All of these people think the

same thing so why is it still happening? Statistics say that every 40 seconds a teen

commits suicide due to rumors/ bullying and more than 4,000 die each year due to

suicide because of rumors and bullying. Let’s put a stop to it all right now before

everything gets worse than it already is.

Football at the high school!!!!!

At East Paulding high school we take our football very seriously. At this point in the

season we feel unstoppable. After we lost coach reed everyone thought we had no chance but

under coach goddard we have been dominating.

No one expected this from coach goddard in his first season here at East. But I think it is

safe to say that he has surprised us all. Coach goddard has used pretty much the exact same

approach as coach reed did when he was here, in that he is attacking the ground with kamani

Thomas.

This past Friday was a close call against South Paulding. We barely pulled out the victory

in the 20-16 final score. By getting the victory we are almost guaranteed a spot in the playoffs,

but we still have to play good and finish the regular season first. Hopefully if we make it to the

playoffs and maybe even the finals we will have success and bring home the championship.

In the past we have gotten so close to the championship but in the end we have not been

able to pull through when it counted the most. But I think that this year we have what it takes to

make it to the end and have success in bringing home the championship. But just in case lets all

pray for our BOYS OF FALL!!!!!!!!

This section of the article is about the students at this schools preference between cars or

trucks. The students that we interviewed in this school prefer trucks over cars nearly 2 to 1.some

people said that it is just more fun to own a big truck or big car in general.

Alot of the students with trucks here go to mudbogs anytime they can.that is part if what

to expect when you come to paulding county,a lot of mud, big trucks, and crazy country

people.pretty much anyone at this school that has a big truck at this school lives off of the

country aspect of life.

The students that chose a regular car as there preference tend to be the less country

people, the people that are more down to earth so to say. They don’t go to mudbogs very often if

at all.they are more worried about gas mileage because trucks do not get great gas mileage.that is

actually one of the main reasons that some of the students chose cars because of better gas

mileage.supriseingly the most common reason that some of the students sad a car is that a truck

is to much work to get into.so let me know what you prefer a small little truck or a big ol truck!!!
