Reflection:

The Parable of the Sower tells us not to lose courage, but to keep sowing the seed generously even if some of it is wasted on people who do not care, who are nice in our face but are indifferent to our needs, who express eagerness to support us, but are dragged along in no time by their own worries and preoccupations. We don’t realize it but much of the seed we sow, however, does grow and bear fruit. A spouse does respond to kindness and gentleness, children do respond to good reason, neighbors are inspired by our Christian example and people are willing to follow the right leader and work for a better community. Jesus went out to sow the seed and for almost 2,000 years it has been scattered all over the world. We have many lay leaders, catechists and ordinary people who believe in the power of the seed and keep sowing it. Like Jesus, they experience that the field is covered by rocks and weeds, but they go on for they also see the seed taking root and bearing fruit.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

During this 2019-2020 school year, we THANK YOU for the numerous ways you have worked collaboratively with our school community. We especially appreciate the greater role you embraced in your child’s learning during this Pandemic Crisis. A special MAHALO to everyone for following all the guidelines provided for the student pick up on June 1st and 2nd. If you were unable to come to school on those two days, please contact our school office to arrange for a pick up of your child’s report card, awards, and other personal items and drop off school textbooks for Grades 3-7.

We also appreciate your patience as we plan our “ON CAMPUS LEARNING’ Guidelines for the 2020-2021 School Year. Our first concern is the safety of everyone and following guidelines provided by the State, CDC, and our Diocese. Based upon the current information that has been provided, we are sharing the following guidelines which everyone will be expected to follow. More information and details will be forthcoming. Our goal is to have Wednesday, August 5th as our first day of school as scheduled on the 2020-2021 school calendar. We are looking forward to seeing all of you and your children for the Opening of School on Campus. Be sure to note the summer office hours and check the Tuition Discount flyer. Please stay well and be safe. Let us thank God for all His grace and blessings bestowed upon all of us. Have a blessed week!

Sincerely in Jesus Christ,

Ms. Beverly Sandobal
