Veremos a algunos elegidos bau zados.

    -P. Tom

    A Message from our Pastor

Happy Feast of the Most Holy Trinity, everyone!

If you see 2 strangers around me, please be sure to greet Deneghy and J. don’t let them stay strangers. On this 1st weekend of June, so different from years past, with gradua ons and our fes val derailed, I hope y’all s ll find something to rejoice about, if only because “God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.” We can face the collapse of so many good things with hope, because God had made us for more than what we have here. You were made for communion with God.

This 1st weekend a er Pentecost, amidst trials, violence, confusion, and death, we ponder the love that God has for us and just what that means. Does it ma er, when we look at what we may have lost these days- lives, jobs, maybe a home? We, who have not suffered so far, much reach out to our suffering brothers and sisters, for to really enter into the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity means to see others, in some way, as a part of myself. Let God’s healing love work through us.

Two Sundays ago, at His Ascension, Jesus told us to bap ze “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” And last Sunday, on Pentecost, we heard “For in one Spirit we were all bap zed into one body.” So, this weekend, we’ll do that. We’ll see some of the Elect bap zed. We’ll see brothers and sisters in the Lord be given “fellowship with the Holy Spirit” and receive Communion for the first me. And we will live it. Thank you for all you do to “encourage one another and live in peace.” May God, Our Father, our Brother, and the Love that binds us together, watch over y’all, keep y’all safe and give you peace.

    -Fr Tom

  • As Catholics, we believe that all we have is a gift from God. Our response in faith is to offer these gifts back to God in gratitude. With gifts of prayer, we pray for our nation, Church and our parishes. With gifts of treasure, we support our parishes even when we cannot be there in person. Make a gift to your parish online at www.archgh.org/parishoffertory, and select your parish. If you cannot give on-line, you may consider mailing a check with your Offering Envelopes. If you prefer to bring them to the Parish Office, please call before coming to be sure someone can receive them. Your continued support is greatly appreciated. Thank You!

¡Gracias!

More Enrichment at Home For our married community, one recommendation for avoiding Coronavirus is to increase the distance between people. However, as couples, we are looking for ways to grow closer to each other, not more distant! What can you do as a leader couple?

    • Read, read and read, learn all you can and stay informed. • Take care of yourself and each other very much. • Intentionally make choices that will bring you closer to your spouse. • Be creative in expressing your love for each other if one of you tests positive for COVID-19
