Hello Friends,

Over the years we’ve heard your request for fabric in our store. We felt it wasn’t right to sell fabric with a quilt store less than a mile away. Now that Marion has decided to enjoy a well deserved retirement, the request for fabric has become even stronger.

So yes, we are adding fabric! And we are so excited! Currently we have about 100 bolts of fabric in our store with hundreds more on order.

Hopefully our fabric shelves will be finished by August. There will be several new collec-tions arriving each month. It may take us awhile to learn what types and colors of fab-rics you like, but we’re willing to learn.

Triangle Frenzy Hexagon Table Topper

Cut some triangles, spin them around, rearrange them, and sew them together. So many variations can be created with this pattern. Just use a 60 Degree Triangle ruler, some striped fabric, and start creating.

Fly, Fly Away

Come fly away with this beautiful butterfly. Doesn’t it just remind you of the wispy breezes of summer? Deann stitched the intricate 25” wall hanging but the pattern allows you to choose between three different sizes. Depending on the Pinwheel/Twister tool you use, you can make a 25”, 43”, or 75” butterfly. Choosing four shades of color with this pattern gives this butterfly real depth, while allowing you to better see the individual pinwheels that make up the wings.

Lighthouse Wall-hanging

Deann loves lighthouses. She created this scene using embroidery designs from the ‘Lighthouse’ collection by Anita Goodesign and some bits of scrap fabric. During this fun hands-on class you will learn how to turn a favorite embroidery design into a landscape quilt. There is lots of room for creativity with these quilts. Best of all no two will be exactly the same.

3. If we do not receive enough sign ups for a class, we will refund your money or credit that amount to-ward another class or any purchase in our store.

4. To receive a full refund on a class fee, please let us know one week before the first class.

Trash to Treasure

Transform your scrap fabric into a ‘Trash to Treasure’ quilt. We all save those beautiful fabric scraps thinking we’ll use them someday. Now is the time to start trimming and organizing them so they can be turned into a quilt. Join us for a day of fun. Learn to use Gyleen Fitzgerald’s pineapple tool while mak-ing good use of your scraps.

Hand Appliqué for Beginners

Learn all the basics of hand appliqué! You will learn the tech-niques of preparing appliqué pieces, making stems, leaves, berries, buds, flowers and a bird. Susan will also teach you basting and hand-appliqué stitching. Your finished block can be

showcased as a small wall quilt or it could be the beginning of a larger quilt. This appliqué block is taken from the ‘Baltimore Blocks for Beginners’ book.
