Be a tourist in York for the weekend….York Residents Festival is upon us again! Organised by Visit York inpartnership with the City of York Council, the Festival is a ‘thank you’to the people of York for the warm welcome given to York’s 7million annual visitors. This year residents will have free access tomany of the city’s leading attractions, be able to explore behind thescenes at places not normally open to the public and takeadvantage of some great dining offers. Enjoy!

Some venues have limited tickets and operate on a firstcome basis first served. Residents need a YorkCard to gainadmission at each venue, available from all of York’s public libraries.YorkCards have a £2.00 admin charge for adults but are free forunder 18’s. The YorkCard also entitles you to free entry to TheCastle Museum and The Yorkshire Museum plus discounted entryto York Dungeon (from Easter) as well as Energise and YearsleySwimming Pools. Make sure you update your Yorkcard in order totake part.
