14.3.11.3 LOG_EAM_LINEAR_2: List Reports for Object Networks (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 (SAP_APPL 606) business function EAM, LinearAsset Management 2 (LOG_EAM_LINEAR_2), you can use new single-level and multi-level lists thatnot only contain object network data and object link data, but their linear data as well. You can displaythe data selected in the list reports in a graphic.

- Single-level lists combine network data for all object networks that, for example, belong to aspecific network type or network group, or have that have certain linear data in common. The datadisplayed for each object network is the data you specified at header level during network modeling. For each network in the list, you can display the graphic and go to the transactions for displaying orprocessing the networks. The Business Add-In BAdI: Implement Customer Function Code in Network List enables you toactivate a customer-specific function code that is then available in the results list as a pushbuttonand as an entry in the Environment menu.

SAP-System______________________________________________________________

- Multi-level lists provide you with the following structured information for each network:

- Attribute values that are assigned to the networks

- Object links that belong to the selected networks

- Functional locations or pieces of equipment that belong to the object links

- Maintenance orders and notifications, as well as measuring points and measurementdocuments that are assigned to each functional location or piece of equipment

You can use filter criteria to further restrict the data that the system displays for the selected objectnetworks. For example, you can specify that you do not want the system to display maintenancenotifications, measurement documents, or attribute property values in the multi-level list. You can navigate from the multi-level lists to the transactions for the network modeler, for themaster data for the technical objects, and for recording attribute property values. You can displaythe selected network data in a graphic.

This business function also enables you to use linear data as selection criteria in the existing list reportsfor object links and display the linear data in the results list. For example, you can list the data for objectlinks that belong to a specific network type or network group.

Effects on Existing Data

There are new transactions for analyzing the object network data:

- Single-level lists: Change Network List (IN26) and Display Network List (IN27)

- Multi-level lists: Multi-Level Functional Location Network List (IN24) and Multi-Level EquipmentNetwork List (IN25)

The list reports for object link data have been enhanced with linear data. Transactions IN15, IN16, IN18,and IN19 now have two new group boxes, Linear Object Link Data and Linear Data of Network. Thelists have also been extended by the appropriate table columns for linear data.

Effects on Customizing

For multi-level lists, you can specify which fields you want to be displayed in the results lists and inwhich sequence you want them displayed. You make the field selection in Customizing for PlantMaintenance and Customer Service under Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service ->Technical Objects -> Linear Asset Management --> Define Field Selection for Multi-Level List Displaysof Funct. Loc. Network and Define Field Selection for Multi-Level List Displays of Equipment Network.

14.4.1.1 LOG_EAM_CI_5: Rescheduling of Maintenance Plans After ChangingMaintenance Strategy (New)

Use

The business function Enterprise Asset Management Part 5 (LOG_EAM_CI_5) is available as of thefollowing releases:

- SAP ERP 6.0 SP20 (EA-APPL 600)

- Enhancement package 2 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP10 (EA-APPL 602)

- Enhancement package 3 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP09 (EA-APPL 603)

- Enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP10 (EA-APPL 604)

- Enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP05 (EA-APPL 605)

- Enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP01 EA-APPL 606)

With this business function, maintenance plans can be rescheduled automatically if a maintenancestrategy is changed in your productive system. This means, for example, that the changed maintenancecycle is transferred to the next scheduled dates of all active maintenance plans according to the cycle.

Process

1. You make a change to the maintenance strategy and save.

2. The system asks if you want the maintenance plans to be rescheduled:

- If not, this is the end of the process. In this case, you have to adjust the maintenance plansmanually.

- If you choose "Yes", the system selects and lists all active maintenance plans that use thechanged maintenance strategy.

3. You can now decide between the following options for each maintenance plan:

- The changed maintenance strategy is to apply after the last planned date.

- The changed maintenance strategy is not to apply until after the next planned date.

4. The system reschedules the active maintenance plans according to your selection. It uses existing data to determine the last maintenance package used, and uses the original call dateas a basis. The system takes both the shift factor and the confirmation date into account. It ignoresany existing offsets (shifts as compared with the original plan). The system deletes any outstandingschedule records. It only reschedules the maintenance plans that fulfill the following criteria:

- Maintenance plans for which scheduling has run at least once

- Maintenance plans that have at least one call waiting

5. Maintenance plans that are not selected are locked for all changes (for example, IP02) andscheduling (IP10 and IP30). You have to reschedule these later. In the SAP Easy Access menu, you choose Logistics -> Plant Maintenance -> Preventive Maintenance -> MaintenancePlanning -> Maintenance Strategies -> Rescheduling of Maintenance Plans.
