SAP Note 682427 - Deleting relationships withoutrespective partner function

Summary

Symptom 

The symptom is the same as that described in Note 497146. Changes or

deletions of partner roles in the R/3 system are transferred correctly

concerning the assigned partner functions to the CRM server. The sales

area-independent relationships, however, that are created in the CRM server

for technical reasons are retained. In this context, also see Note 490454.

Note 497146 provides an enhancement of the data exchagne to solve the

problem so that relationships which have become obsolete are deleted.

However, this is not a solution yet for the relationships which were

created before the implementation of Note 497146 and which are no longer

required.

This note provides a report which can delete the relationships to which no

more partner function is assigned in the CRM server.

Reason and Prerequisites

Solution

Create report Z_DELETE_REL_WITHOUT_PFKT in Transaction SE38 and save. Then

implement the attached correction instructions.

The report searches for relationships for the specified relationship typeand for the specified area of partner1 for which no partner function is

maintained on the database (CRMM_BUT_FRG0081) for the partner function

assigned to the relationship type for the same partner1 and the same

partner2. These relationships are displayed or deleted.

After the activation, the report can be started in the test mode that is,

parameter TEST = 'X' which is also the default. Then the relationships to

be deleted are only displayed, however, not deleted. A further execution of

the report with TEST = ' ' deletes these relationships precisely. The

report prompts the specification of a relationship type. Relationship types

BUR001, BUR010, BURC01 and BUR011 were excluded from this processing first

since they are also used without partner function in general. If the report

should also delete these, you have to change the report correspondingly.
