Basic training

As part of basic training, the courses TADM10 (SAP Web AS Implementation & Operation I) and TADM12 (SAP Web AS Implementation & Operation II) impart basic skills for the technical administration of SAP systems in the of SAP Web AS Java environment and SAP Web AS ABAP

environment.

Knowledge of at least one operating system and database is a prerequisite for the course to become a Technology Consulant. This previous knowledge is not part of the basic training mentionned.

In the courses ADM515 (Database Administration MaxDB), TADM51 (SAP Web AS DB Operation (ORACLE)), TADM53 (SAP Web AS DB Operation (MS SQL Server)), and TADM56 (SAP Web AS DB Operation (DB2 UDB)) you learn how to manage the above-mentionned database systems in an SAP system.

Please note that in-depth knowledge of managing the database concerned is a prerequisite for each of these courses. These courses explain only the particular aspects of managing the named database systems in conjunction with SAP systems. The necessary previous knowledge can be obtained from courses provided by database manufacturers (with the exception of SAP DB and MaxDB - SAP offers courses for these). A course from AddOn Systemhaus GmbH is also available. These courses were created in agreement with SAP and provide a training basis for selected operating systems and databases in the SAP environment.

We also offer Online Knowledge Products (OKPs) as an alternative to the classroom training courses. These have been developed for Technology Consultants and Development Consultants.

Please note that an Online Knowledge Product is not particularly intended as preparation for the certification examination, since the content of an Online Knowledge Product does not cover the content of the delta certification examination exactly.

Online Knowledge Products (OKP) are detailed and self-paced training materials for new versions of SAP solutions and products. OKPs are based on e-learning technologies and use personalized learning maps that allow you to learn about the latest functions on a role basis without leaving the office. A preqrequisite for participation in this course is that you have already been certified as a Technology Consultant (2000) or mySAP Technology - Administration (2002, release SAP Web AS 6.10) or a Technology Consultant SAP NetWeaver - Web AS Impl. & Oper. for [DB] (2003, Release SAP Web AS 6.20) or Technology Consultant SAP NetWeaver 2004 - Web AS for [DB] for the most common operating systems and databases.

Basic training SAP NetWeaver - Core Technology (SAP Web AS) consultant profile

The training courses TADM10 (SAP Web AS Implementation & Operation I) and TADM12 (SAP Web AS Implementation & Operation II) provide basic training on the technical administration of SAP systems within SAP Web AS Java and SAP Web AS ABAP environments. Technology consultant training requires knowledge of at least one operating system and one database. This prior knowledge is not part of the basic training envisaged.

The training courses ADM515 (Database Administration SAP DB/Max DB), TADM51 (SAP Web AS DB Operation (Oracle)), TADM53 (SAP Web AS DB Operation (MS SQL Server)), and TADM56 (SAP Web AS DB Operation (DB2 UDB)) cover the administration of each database system as part of an SAP system.

Note: Each of these training courses requires detailed knowledge of the administration of the relevant database. The courses only cover the particular aspects of administration that arise when using the database with SAP systems. Participants can acquire the necessary experience by attending database vendor training courses (with the exception of SAP DB and MaxDB, which are covered by SAP training courses). AddOn Systemhaus GmbH also provides a range of relevant courses. These courses were created in conjunction with SAP and provide the required background knowledge for selected operating systems and databases in an SAP environment.

OKPs provide extensive training materials for self-study on new versions of SAP solutions and products. Using personalized Learning Maps, consultants can undertake role-based training on the latest functions at their own work centers, based on e-learning technologies.
