Santosha SUP Yoga Bali Retreat – Daily Activities

Daily Yoga Classes - Two instructors, two styles of yoga - Hatha and Vinyasa flow. The classes are suitable for both beginners to advanced, as modifications are given throughout the class to be accessible to everyone. Your instructors will give you individual attention during the retreat to enhance your yoga experience; assisting with alignment, guiding you through breathing techniques and offering you support to grow in your practice. SUP Yoga - Our instructors carefully tailor their classes to the individual student's abilities. Even if you're relatively new to SUP Yoga, this is a perfect opportunity to learn in a fun, safe and supportive environment. You will benefit from the individual attention that you may not always get in a non-retreat setting. All the equipment is provided and set up for you to enjoy your floating mat on the ocean. SUP Cruise/Wave Riding – This SUP activity is dependent on your preference to either learn how to ride waves on a SUP or - for a gentle, more meditative alternative - to cruise along flat water, exploring the coast. You will be in good hands, as the instructors are fully qualified SUP Instructors, SUP Yoga Instructors and have a strong background in water safety and rescue. Beginners will learn how to Stand Up Paddleboard with 1:1 coaching with a SUP instructor, those who are a little more advanced will learn how to improve their techniques and learn new skills. SUP Yoga Workshop - This session will go through selected SUP Yoga postures in detail and introduce some more challenging SUP Yoga postures under the guidance of the SUP yoga instructor. This is a fun workshop with lots of laughs guaranteed, where you may try something you never knew you could do before. Prepare to grow in confidence and ability… and surprise even yourself with what you can achieve! We will be taking plenty of photos during this class so you can capture these awesome moments forever… and to make sure friends and family back home don’t miss out on all the fun! SUP Lagoon Cruise - The Sanur area boasts a beautiful lagoon we be consider to be SUP Paradise. Glide across the water without a ripple… pure bliss! This is a fantastic place to practice mindfulness whilst you're floating on your board. Let all the stresses of modern day life float away.

Our spacious open living/dining area is next to our 20m swimming pool, aesthetic wooden Balinese furniture like daybeds, couches, dining table, fridge, drinking water. Kitchen (shared) Our kitchen is located in the Entrance area, fully equipped with all you need to prepare a meal. Kitchen comes with drinking water, coffee & tea for free. Service The house comes with three staff who can help you with your daily needs from cooking, cleaning, laundry and any other enquiries you may have during your stay with us. Location We are located just a 10 minutes stroll to the beach and 10 minutes walk to the heart of Sanur where you can find everything you need. Good location to start a bicycle tour on the beach path along 7 kms of white sand beach. The reef is perfect for a huge range of water sport activities (Kite, Surf, Jetski, Wakeboard) and allows you to enjoy safe swimming and snorkeling. Sanur is a gourmet paradise with his big range of international restaurants, grocery stores, the traditional warungs and the big night market. The Neighbourhood Our house is surrounded by a lot of balinese style villas and old traditional Balinese houses, quiet and safe area. Not crowded & very easy to get around. Located at the very end of a small Gang. Getting around We offer transport and we can help you to rent a bicycle or a motorbike. There are also taxis and transport near by. .

Known for its laidback atmosphere, Sanur Beach maintains its wealth in arts and culture.   Dining Out An unfulfilled appetite has never been an issue in Sanur - this bayside town is full with restaurants, cafés, and local warungs. No matter what your geographic, culinary and budgetary preference; you name it, Sanur has it. Shopping For shoppers, the scene starts on the beach sidewalks lined with art stalls. Further on the streets are various fashion boutiques, jewellery stores, antique shops and galleries. The weekly market is a must-see for those looking for a unique souvenir of their time in Bali… or that special outfit to wear back home! Water Activities Blessed with a long reef teeming with diverse marine life, Sanur is regarded as on of the best diving spots in Balli.  During your time off, hire a bicycle and follow the beach path along kilometers of white sand beach. If you can’t get enough of the ocean, you’ll be thrilled by the huge range of water sport activities available in the area – including Kite-Surf, Jetski, Windsurf, Diving, Snorkelling, Sea Walking, Wakeboard and Sailing.

Chantal and Ben are both accredited Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) instructors, SUP yoga teachers, certified Yoga teachers in Vinyasa and Hatha and SUP yoga teacher training facilitators. Ben is a surfing and kiteboarding instructor, with a strong background in water rescue and has worked as a professional lifeguard and rescue diver. Chantal has a background in nursing and counseling, bringing a nurturing aspect to our retreats through yoga and mindfulness. They own and manage a water-sports school in Western Australia, teaching Stand Up Paddleboarding, Sup Yoga, Surfing and Kiteboarding. Both have extensive experience in facilitating workshops, trainings and retreats both in yoga and water sports. With these two at the helm, our retreats focus on fun, safety and the mindfulness and therapeutic benefits of the ocean. Chantal and Ben make a strong dynamic team who cannot wait to share their passion for yoga and love of the ocean with you.
