Ninety North Main Parking on City Streets Tooele City Roadway Projects Update… This year Tooele City has continued its efforts to maintain and preserve the life of the City’s streets. The work completed this year has a total value of approximately $1.4 million, and includes installation of accessible corner ramps, rotomill and asphalt overlay, slurry seal and chip seal. With the exception of the chip seal project, all work has been substantially completed and will help extend the life and durability of our streets. In years past, the use of chip seal has proven to be a very cost effective means to extend the life of our streets; however, this year the application has not been effective and is not complete. The contractor has not been paid for this portion of the work, and will be required to return next spring when weather conditions are appropriate and complete the work. Thank you for your patience.
