We Will Have a Celebration of the Music Ministry of Mel Anderson on November 12th during the 11:00 a.m. worship service. We will give praise to God for Mel’s 65 years of ministry. A reception will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall. Please join us, and invite a friend.

Coats For Kids - Join with WMU and LBA in their effort to keep our children warm and happy this winter. We are collecting new coats for kids sizes 4t to 20 for both boys and girls as well as scarves, hats, mittens, and gloves. Deadline for donations will be Sunday, November 26 th. Our Coats for Kids event will be on Saturday, December 2nd from 9:00 am to 1:00 p.m. at Chestnut Hill Baptist Church. Volunteers are needed the week before to help sort and hang coats and to help manage phone calls. Call the LBA office at 316-8382 to volunteer.

Finance Committee Meeting will be on Tuesday, October 24th at 6:30 p.m. in the conference room.

Deacons Meeting will be on Saturday, October 28th at 1:00 p.m. in the church conference room. Reverend Ralph Jackson will be our special guest that day.

The Gallahers Made An Honorary Donation to the Honduras Missions Fund “In honor of Mel Anderson for his service to God through his tireless devotion to Franklin Street Baptist Church as Youth Music Director through to Sandusky Baptist Church as Minister of Music. Thank you, Mel, on behalf of all of the lives you have affected positively.”

Our Church Custodian will be out on sick leave for a while. If you can help clean the church, see Pastor Ed or E.B. Daniel.

Dedication For Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes will be Sunday, November 12th. Please return shoeboxes before the dedication.
