Virtus Training
I live, no longer I, but Christ lives in me.
— Galatians 2:20
Have You Noticed? If you haven’t noticed, the City has repainted the curb in front of the Church white for “loading and unloading only” and added 3 minutes only. So, just a reminder that you are not suppose to park there during Church services. If you have a cab or Uber driver who drops you off and they are going to wait for you they need to park either in our main parking lot and then come and pick you up at the end of Mass or park in a normal street parking spot (grey curb). We don’t want anyone to get a ticket .
Where will you serve?
Eucharistic Ministers Needed! (Especially for our 11:30 a.m. Mass)
If you regularly attend our 11:30 a.m. Mass or one of our other Masses, and have thought about wanting to be a Eucharistic Minister, please contact the Rectory Office or speak to our Pastor, Father Bruce. This is a very fulfilling Ministry. Please call the Parish Office at (805) 687-5215. If being a Eucharistic Minister is not your calling then how about volunteering to help with cleaning and/or ironing of our linens. This is needed to be done weekly; however, the more people we have volunteering then it may only be a once a month commitment. We will train you. If this Ministry interests you, please contact, Tricia, in the Parish Office at (805) 687-5215.
Summer Choir will Start June 26th 9:30 am Mass We want to encourage all ages to join our Summer Choir on any Sunday during the summer starting Sunday, June 26th through Sunday, September 11th. This group meets only on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the Church (not the Choir Loft) to briefly rehearse and then sing at the 9:30 a.m. Mass. The music is easy and we invite those who perhaps can’t make the commitment during the school year to join us during the summer months. If you are interested, call David in the Music Office at 687-5215, ext. 16.

Safeguard the Children
Implement safety rules for kids going to summer camp
Summer camp is a time-honored tradition for kids. Whether it’s an all-day camp or cabin sleep-away, kids can get out of the house, learn new skills, and make friends. Parents who send their kids off to camp should be sure to research the camp and the counselors who will be watching their kids. If your child is going to sleep-away camp, check in by phone or mail regularly. Ask questions and ensure that your child is safe and cared for at any camp. For a copy of the VIRTUS® article, “Summer Camp Preparations”, email:
