PREFACE “ONE HAS TO BE CONCEPTUALLY STRONG”
The real success is not about achieving the great in life but to maintain
the achievement. We often find people with short-term success because
those who got long-term success are the one who spends their life
mastering the principle in their respective fields.
In cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, a technically strong batsman, always
stays far ahead of a thrilling hard hitter on the pitch like ShahidAfridi.
Sachin‘s strength lies in being conceptually strong and his attitude to
remain a student of the game throughout his life.
WHAT KIND OF A BOOK IS THIS?
This is like a road map which exhibits a pre-defined way which will lead
you to your dream job and all the principles you need to follow in order
to become a top-class interviewee. This is a guide book with the
references of real life which would surely answer you “what to do” and
“how to do.”
HOW TO GAIN MAXIMUM OUT OF THIS BOOK?
This book will help you develop a new vision, to generate a sense of
responsibility to justify your true potential to utilise time, to achieve
greater heights for turning your dreams into reality.
“THE BEST IDEA WILL NOT WORK UNLESS YOU WORK
THE IDEA”
The concept of this book will not work by just a casual reading. It must
be read thoroughly to get the most out of it. It is important to internalise
the ideas along with the references. As you read, discuss ideas with all
your nears and dears to create a productive image in your subconscious
mind. Use a highlighter to mark those ideas which you find more relevant to
your career. Jotting down the key points designing your dialogues will be
mighty handy.

Interview and Luck
‖Always remember, you do not need to be the best
candidate but the best interviewee who gets the job.‖
It‘s very much similar to a cricket match where it is not
the player with the best record on the paper but the best
performer of the day who gets the title of the ―man of the
match.‖
Some people believe it is more down to luck than good
judgement. For those, this book will train their brain to
manage their luck in a comprehensive way.
LUCK
He worked by day and toiled by night.
He gave up play and some delight
Dry books he reads,
New things to learn.
And forged ahead,
Success to earn.
He plodded on with faith and pluck;
And when he won,
People called it luck.

It‘s important to understand what a job interview is? You
have to be conceptually strong to crack a top-class
interview. As it is said, winners learn the trade and losers
learn the tricks.
IF YOU KNOW IT WELL, YOU WILL DO IT WELL.
INTERVIEW is a conversation between two parties
where each party tries to reveal the facts about the
personality of the other.
JOB INTERVIEW:A typical job interview is a formal
conversation between two parties where each party tries
to judge and evaluate the “will & skill” of the other.
When we talk about a conversation, there is one thing
that needs to be kept in mind that both the parties in a
conversation are having equal right to share things.

INTERVIEW IS NOT A QUIZ CONTEST …. Interview is strictly not a quiz contest where one party will raise the
question and the other would reply, and this is one of the most common
mistakes interviewee makes that they believe the interviewer holds all
the rights to raise question, and they are there to answer in a prescribed
manner.
DO WE REALLY NEED A GIRLFRIEND TO CRACK
INTERVIEWS?
Let me share a pretty interesting story with you. You can take it as
one of the best case studies to have the best insight into the above-
said concept that interview is not a quiz contest.
When a young boy after completing his B.Tech. in information
technology went to face an interview in one of the leading
companies, he had all the energy in his body, was very enthusiastic
and excited about the interview, believing that he is just one step
away from his dream job and exploring the IT sector. After waiting
in anteroom for 15 odd minutes, he was called. He went inside the
room. After all the formal etiquettes and wishes, he took the seat.
His heart started pumping at knots. Now, the chief interviewer had
his resume in hand and went through it very quickly. Guess what
he would have asked? If you are thinking obviously it should be
something like introduce yourself, about schooling, college,
interest areas, or why this job or this company, then let me tell you
folks this is not why you are reading this story for.
The very first question which later on turned out the last as well
was how many girlfriends do you have?, which really woke him up
and shocked the hell out of him. But he had to answer anyhow, he
answered, Sir, I don‘t have any girlfriend. Guess what the response
of the interviewer was …Get out! Next please! This wasall he said
by returning his documents. He took all his documents and stepped
out of the room with a heavy heart and all the regrets of the world.
But he was very much annoyed with the interviewer, thinking what
if I don‘t have a girlfriend. By the time, he came to realise that he
should have asked the reason, it was too late and found himself out
