I am 22 years old, English, and looking to find work in Sydney. I am an enthusiastic, reliable and well-organised individual with experience of employment in a variety of different environments as both a member of a team and under my own initiative. I am confident, hardworking and set myself high standards in all that I undertake, allowing me to achieve educational success up to degree level. I have a willingness to embrace change and I seize new opportunities with enthusiasm. A strong background in sport has further developed my skills, allowing me to acquire valuable traits such as leadership, teamwork, communication and a strong drive to succeed.

- The three-year course contained two personalised projects, a professional placement, and a dissertation. Modules studied included project management, social media, direct marketing, principles of marketing, analytics and content creation.

Communication▪ I have a strong background in team sports where I have had to develop effective

communications skills to my game to keep teammates notified and help achieve our goal.▪ I have worked in stressful kitchen, construction and office environments which have again

forced me to develop my communication both professionally and efficiently to co-workers and customers.

Leadership skills ▪ I have carried out several coaching sessions both independently and with peers. This

required me to give clear, concise instructions and carry out activities requiring feedback whilst keeping everything within health and safety protocol.

▪ Took a lead role whilst working in the kitchen by coordinating numerous shifts to co-workers in order to make sure that service ran efficiently by assigning tasks to members of the team and make sure tasks were completed on time and correctly.

Organisation ▪ The organisation of a number of social media accounts for different client’s pages

simultaneously, which always had to be pre-set a week in advance of being posted. ▪ A key part of my academic studies has been in the management of sports, marketing and

general projects. ▪ Managed assignments and revision to strict deadlines throughout my time at university.▪ Throughout work in the kitchen I had to organise multiple orders and prioritise tasks to

ensure efficient times and excellent presentation.

Work History

Work Placement – LiveLink Digital Marketing Agency – Manchester - Throughout my time there I received full experience of working in the world of digital

marketing. Similar to a graduate scheme, the year involved training in a number of areas (SEO, adwords, analytics, email marketing, social media etc.) before being given the choice to specialise in one area (social media). Throughout the year I was given responsibilities such as the running of client social media and content writing for a number of sites.

Customer Services Officer - HSBC - Stoke-On-Trent - I worked as a customer services officer and personal banker at HSBC bank. I received a one-

month course in customer services and my job roles included meeting and conversing with customers, helping with queries and complaints as well as dealing with their everyday banking needs. I loved this job, but left in order to pursue a move to Australia.

Gym Engineer – Gym Repair – Stoke-On-Trent - This job involved the transportation and installation of heavy, high-end gym equipment as

well as maintaining good communication with customers whilst encouraging future sales and a healthy brand image. People skills and communication skills in this job are key to success.

Kitchen Assistant/Bartender/Waiter – The White Lion - I was trained to prepare and cook a set part of the menu alongside team mates where I

further developed in my communication and cooperation skills in order to reach a common goal. This again greatly improved my people skills and the ability to deal with customers face to face and via phone in a professional and polite manner.

Additional Information

▪ IT Skills: I have a broad experience in Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools such as all social media sites, Adwords and Google analytics as well as being Mac capable.

▪ It is important to note that all job terminations were voluntary due to academic commitments at either college or university.
