During my time at Eagle Rock Entertainment I have pushed myself to get involved in any film shoots that I could: June 2015 – The Who Live - in Hyde Park, I worked as runner for this shoot. During the day I helped the camera crew transport equipment and ensured they had everything they needed to set up. I also was assisting the production team to help the shoot run smoothly. C u r r e n t E m p l o y m e n t October 2014 – Eagle Rock Entertainment (Production Assistant) I am currently working for Eagle Rock, a DVD and Blu-ray distribution company specialising in music concerts and music documentaries. My responsibilities are varied and include speaking to producers to get paperwork and deliverables, sending out DVD screeners to clients, completing purchase orders, keeping a hard drive log, completing quality control of finished goods and assisting the production department by keeping the office organised. During my time at Eagle Rock Entertainment I have pushed myself to get involved in any film shoots that I could:

June 2015 – The Who Live - in Hyde Park, I worked as runner for this shoot. During the day I helped the camera crew transport equipment and ensured they had everything they needed to set up. I also was assisting the production team to help the shoot run smoothly. During the performance I was cable bashing for a hand held camera on the stage, this was an incredible way to experience working under pressure, multi-tasking and be involved in filming a live concert.

W o r k E x p e r i e n c e September 2014 – RDF Television (Dickinson’s Real Deal) I was a runner/ steward for four episodes of Dickinson’s Real Deal.

September 2013 – BskyB Sky Scholarship, I was one of three people selected through an interview process for a two week placement at the BskyB offices in London. I spent time in different departments such as Ingest, Sky Sports, news and content handling.

April 2014 – BskyB, following my time at Sky in the summer I went back in April to work in the content handling department for a week. During this week I got the opportunity to shadow the EVS operator for a number of studio shows including Monday Night Football, Ringside and Thronecast.

P r o d u c t i o n sA documentary titled Kickstarter: Standing out from the crowd : This was my final year project that I directed. I followed the journey of two first time Kickstarter users as they attempt to get funding.

Battle of the Buskers: I directed a film about buskers, filming them perform in the streets around Birmingham.

S k i l l s a n d e x p e r i e n c e Technical Skills

Cameras – Cannon xm2 and 600D, Sony Z7 and Z5, I was chosen to vision mix for three third years final year projects so I am

confident in using a vision mixing desk Sound – Portable recorders - Edirol’s and Maranzes. Editing – Adobe Premiere, Avid I am well versed in using Microsoft Excel

Working under pressure The shoots for Eagle Rock helped develop this skill, particularly being on stage in

front of 65,000 people. Meeting release dates means that the production department is constantly working

under pressure in order to hit numerous deadlines in such a process. Eye for Detail

It is important to have a good eye for detail while completing quality control, to ensure no minute errors have occurred during the authoring process.

Organisation I have created a number of detailed spreadsheets for DVD screeners and

hard drives. This helps me keep track of what is in the office and respond quickly to any requests.

Communication A key part of my job is collecting paperwork for on-going projects. This requires

good communication skill as this often isn’t at the top of producers priorities, having moved onto new projects.
