COMMANDER’S COMMENTS IamproudtobeyournewCommanderandhopeourPostcontinuestomoveforward.Summeriscomingonstrong,somakesuretowatchforkidsandmotorcycleswhendriving. Wewill be helpingwith the giant flag on the field at the opening of theCollegeWorld Series andMilitaryAppreciationDayatTDAmeritradeParkonJune15thand17th.Weneed20membersfromourPost.CalloremailthePostwithyourname,phone,andE-mailaddress.Departmentneedsthisinfoforclearanceintothepark.ThankstoallourvolunteerswhokeepthePostrunningsmoothly,andthankstoourmembersforsupportingus. The concrete pad for the cooler/freezer is poured.We are looking for someone who can pump down thecompressors,thenwewillneedhelptodisassembleandbringthecoolertothePostandre-assembleit.Thiswillprobablytakeabout6-8people.PleaseletmeorGregknowifyoucanhelp.

FROM THE ADJUTANT IhavebeenaskedtolookintoaPosttripin2020toEurope;thetourwillbeinBavariaGermany.ThespringtripthatIwasplanningisfullbutwehaveanoptionforasummerorfalltripinstead.ThatwillincludegoingtosomeoftheoldestbreweriesinGermany.ThetripwillstartinMunichandwouldincludethefollowingcities:Bamberg,theEaglesnest,Regensburg(homeoftheworld’soldestrunrestaurant);Rothenburg,Nuremburg,theDachauMemo-rial,Neuschwansteincastle,SalzburgAustriaandmore.WewillalsobeattendingeitherAnnaFest(summertrip)orOktoberfest(falltrip).
