“So do not worry and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear?’ All these things the pagans seek. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom (of God) and his righteousness and all these things will be given you besides.”

Calling All Ministry Leaders St. Rose of Lima will hold a Ministry Fair on the weekend of January 25 & 26. Please begin planning what literature and supplies you would like to display in your booth. Invite others to be included in your planning. The Ministry Fair will be one way in which our parish works to renew Stewardship in January. It is a great opportunity to welcome other people to bring their gifts to our ministries. Any questions, contact Theresa Fugardi: [email protected] or 508-393-2413.

Stewardship Tithes
A tithe in the amount of $1000 was sent to The Annual Patron Appeal in support of America Media, a community of people who believe - in faith, hope and love - that informed and charitable debate are still possible and needed now more than ever, in both the church and the country we love. A tithe in the amount of $200 was sent to Veronika Jaster to support her attendance at the Student Leadership Summit Conference in 2020. This event will be attended by Catholic students, missionaries and ministers from all over the country.

The Legacy of Hope Campaign
We are blessed, indeed, here at Saint Rose with so many generous donations to our Legacy of Hope campaign. These donations, of many different amounts, will help us maintain the beauty, comfort and safety of our spiritual home.
For those who have contributed and those still considering a donation, thank you so much. As always, if you have any questions about the campaign or how to make a donation, please call the parish office: 508-393-2413. Happy New Year to one and all!

Pray the Rosary…
Praying of the Rosary will take place on Thursday evenings at 6:15 PM in the Church. In praying the Rosary, we include the petitions and intentions of our parishioners, the ministries of our
parish, the prayers of our community and world. By praying the Rosary, we reach out and offer spiritual support to our brothers and sisters who are in need.
The Rosary Ministry is a great way for parishioners of all ages to have an active part in our Church community.
Please join US!
Today we celebrate the Epiphany, which means “to shine forth” (of Jesus to all the nations beyond Israel). When the Magi from the East saw a new star appear in the sky they accepted it as a sign that a new leader had been born.
Without knowing where it would lead them, they set out on a journey to follow it. God led them to Jesus. ~ Family Faith on the Go

Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry at St. Rose begins it’s 15th year. As we give thanks for the many wonderful and beautiful shawls that have been made and given to our family, friends and parishioners through the years, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the knitters and crocheters who have made one or many shawls that have been given away… well over 900… thank you, thank you !!!
Care and love of knitting/crocheting have been combined into a prayerful ministry that reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace.
New members are ALWAYS welcome to join the prayer shawl ministry, which meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM and on the first and third Thursday of the month from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM.
To join, call the parish office: 508-393-2413 or just attend one of the meetings.

New Year’s Prayer
God, thank you for a new year. May everyone in our family be willing to begin anew with a clean slate. We know that you are always ready to forgive us.
Help us to be wiling to forgive ourselves and to forgive one another.
As we begin a new year, remind us of our truest values and our deepest desires. Help us to live in the goodness
that comes from doing what you want us to do. Help us to put aside anxiety about the future and the past, so that we
might live in peace with you now, one day at a time.
If you give online and prefer “not” to receive envelopes, please call the office, 508-393-2413 or email [email protected] and we will have them discontinued.
