BISHOP DAVID J. WALKOWIAK ASKS US TO PRAY FOR OUR SEMINARIANS

Loving God, raise up dedicated leaders who will shepherd your people and guide them to your Son. Give generous and willing hearts to the seminarians of our Diocese who have heard your call to live a life of ser-vice to the Church. Help us to encourage and support them as they strive to become priests who are models of discipleship, possessors of wisdom and on fire with love for your people. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

We especially pray for: Robert Mulderink

High School Youth Ministry (YM2): Lifeteen is done for the school year. June 24/25 CAR WASH during Masses all weekend! July 16 -23 Summer Mission Trip.

Church Chuckle: Definitions:

Bulletin: 1) Something to read during the sermon; 2) a fan used in churches without air conditioning; 3) your receipt for attending church. Choir: A group of people who sing loudly enough to enable the rest of us to lip-sync all hymns. Recessional hymn: The final hymn, and usually the quietest of all hymns because so many parishioners have already left before it is sung. Ushers: The only guys in the church who still do not know the actu-al seating capacity of a pew. Relics: Older members who still remember when to sit, stand, and kneel during worship.

Hallway Construction Update: As you can see, the exterior work on the hallway repair has been completed. Drywall installation has begun and painting will start very soon. The suspended ceiling will be installed next and the landscaping shortly thereafter. The finished project will be truly beautiful. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed in any way, and thank you to all parishioners for your financial support which made this repair possible.

Dear St. Michael's family, Thank you so much for your support over these last 6 years of preparation for the priesthood. I was so blessed to be able to celebrate Mass with all of you this past weekend. Thanks to all who have loved and supported me in so many ways, and especially to those who helped to make this weekend such a wonderful celebration. Please keep me in your prayers in these days ahead. God bless, Fr. Kyle Kilpatrick
