Many students and staff and unprepared to respond to a medical emergency such as sudden cardiac arrest or minor injuries.

Sudden cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death in the United States that could be prevented by citizens who are prepared with Safety, First Aid, and CPR training.

GOAL

Provide a class for students to take to become CPR and First Aid certified.

Have an in service for teachers to become CPR and First Aid certified.

SOLUTION

Have Health and Physical Education teachers become CPR and First Aid certified instructors.

Acquire the necessary equipment (mannequins, safety masks, etc.) to be able to teach students and staff.
