Marriage Preparation Marriage Preparation: To sched-ule a wedding, an engaged couple must meet with their parish priest or deacon at least eight months before their proposed wedding date. Prepa-ration for the sacrament includes attending a diocesan program such as Engaged En-counter or Pre Cana. Also, couples of child-bearing age will need to take a full course of Natural Family Planning. Pre-registration for each of these programs is mandatory. The next Engaged Encounter will be October 20th -22nd at Marywood Retreat Center. The next Pre Cana program will be December 9th in Jacksonville. For more information about the dioce-san requirements or to register for any of the dioce-san programs, please visit www.dcfl.org or call (904) 551-2619.

Twenty-eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time You are invited to a rich feast. Don’t ignore the invitation. Perhaps you are called to service through or-dained ministry or the consecrated life. Trust that you will receive the grace you need. (Matthew 22:1-14).

If you have a question about a vocation to the priest-hood or religious life, contact Fr. David Ruchinski, Vocation Director, at (904) 262-3200 ext. 101, or email [email protected].
