Sacred Heart School News… Thank you to the many parishioners and school families who brought their precious pets to our Annual Blessing of the Animals. It was a wonderful way to teach our students about the love of all forms of life that St. Francis of Assisi shared.

Sacred Heart School students and staff wish to thank the wonderful Community Helpers who came and visited our campus on October 1 for our Safety Day. One of our school parents, Mrs. Nikki Yarnall, graciously facilitated the day for us by inviting our Rockport Police Department, Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Wardens, Rockport Fire Department, Allegiance EMS, and our local 911 Dispatch office. Students learned safety practices while touring emergency vehicles and learning more about the work they do for us all. Our students showed their support and appreciation for them all by wear-ing blue ribbons to show that we BACK THE BLUE and by singing the school blessing over them. May God bless those who do so much for us all. The next School Advisory Council meeting will be held on Monday, October 12, at 5:15pm in the school library. Parent/Teacher Conferences to discuss the 1st Quarter report cards will be scheduled and held October 19-22.
