THE SODALITY OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY The Sodality promotes the Rosary and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. They attend the 4 pm Mass the first Saturday of each month. They meet at the parish house at 7 PM on the Second Monday of each month.

Lansdowne Interfaith Pantry
The Food Pantry program exists through a network of Christian Churches in the Lansdowne area, whose vol-unteers are united in their efforts to provide an immedi-ate solution to the urgent problem of hunger through the distribution of food to those individuals and families in need. Food distributions are normally done on Saturdays from 10 am to Noon at St. Clement. MASS INTENTION POLICY
St. Clement Church
We want to announce a change in our parish policy for Mass Intentions. First, we encourage parishioners to request Masses for friends and family members who are in need or who have died. The Mass is the most powerful prayer we have as human beings. Second, we list our revised policy below:
Every weekend, one Mass will be offered for the intention “All Parishioners.” This will alternate each
week between the 6pm Spanish Mass and one of the English Masses. Canon Law of the Church stipu-lates that all parishes offer such a Mass.
On weeks in which the Saturday Spanish Mass is for “All Parishioners,” any Mass requests received will
be included in the Sunday Spanish Mass.
Beginning July 1, 2017, an offering of $10.00 will be requested for each Mass intention. This is a recom-
mendation of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. This offering helps the person to participate in and actively support the celebration of that particular Mass.
A parishioner may request up to 5 INDIVIDUAL Mass intentions a year. It is necessary to limit the num-
ber of individual Masses so that more of our parishioners can participate. Our parish has over 700 regis-
tered families but only 312 Masses available for individual intentions per year.
A parishioner may request up to 5 GROUP Mass intentions a year. We are beginning a new practice of
offering a Mass for a group of intentions once each month. The date for this group intention will be listed in the bulletin each month. We will pray for numerous individuals at that particular Mass . This enables us to honor a Mass request within a few weeks of the time it is requested if it is part of the group inten-
tion, whereas if it is an individual intention, it may be several months before it can be honored.
Thus, a parishioner may request a total of 10 Mass Intentions a year: 5 INDIVIDUAL intentions and 5 GROUP intentions.
If a Mass is cancelled due to weather or some other cause, the intention for that Mass will be put into the
group intention for the next group intention Mass.

SOBRE LAS INTENCIONES EN LA MISA

Deseamos anunciarles el cambio en nuestra politica de la parroquia con respecto a las intenciones en las Misas. Primero, animamos a los parroquianos solicitar Misas para pedir por sus familiares y amigos que necesitan
oración o han fallecido. La Misa es la oración mas poderosa que tenemos como seres humanos. Segundo, les damos a conocer nuestra politica que hemos revisado:
Cada fin de semana, se ofrecerá una Misa por “Todos los Parroquianos” Esta se alternará cada semana entre la Misa en español de las 6pm. y una de las Misas en inglés. La ley Canónica de la Iglesia estipula que
todas las parroquias deben ofrecer dichas Misas. En la semana en la cual la Misa en español del Sábado se ofrece por “Todos los parroquianos” todas las
intenciones que se reciban se incluirán en la Misa en español del domingo.
Por recomendación de la Arquidiócesis de Baltimore a partir del 1o.de Julio del 2017, se solicitará una
ofrenda de $10.00 por cada intención en la Misa. Esta ofrenda ayudará a la persona a participar y apoyar activamente la celebración de esa Misa en particular.
Un feligrés durante el año no podrá solicitar mas de 5 intenciones individuales en la Misa. Es necesario
limitar el número de Misas individuales para que mas parroquianos puedan participar. Nuestra Parroquia

Si una Misa se cancela debido al mal tiempo o por otra razón, la intención de esa Misa se agregará a la
siguiente Misa de grupo.
