Information Card located in the sanctuary pew. Place the
completed card in the offering plate when it is passed or
hand it to a greeter or the pastor as you leave the sanctuary.
Having Difficulty Hearing?
We want EVERYONE to hear clearly. The BEST location
in the sanctuary for hearing is close to the center aisle, 8 to
10 rows back from the front. If you are having trouble
hearing, you might want to try sitting near this area.
Wireless hearing aid devices are available at the sound
booth in the rear of the sanctuary.

BLUE GRASS CHRISTMAS December 26
New Horizons Blue Grass Band will join us on
Sabbath, December 26 to play, sing and lead
worship. New Horizons has provided music and led
singing at Colorado Cowboy Camp Meeting at Silver
Jack Reservoir for the past several years. They also
perform at various venues including fundraisers for
church and school groups, baptisms, and youth
conventions.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
A Warm Welcome to our guests today. We hope you will be
blessed by our service and will worship with us again. Please
join us downstairs in the Fellowship Hall after the service for
lunch which has been prepared especially for you.
Childcare is Available each week during the worship service for
children up to 6 years of age, 10:30am-12:30pm in the Primary
Sabbath School room located on the lower level at the end of the
hall on the left. It is requested that your children be picked-up
immediately following the worship service. Thank you.
2016 Devotional Books: Order forms are on the table in the
foyer. Please fill out and place in the basket on the table. All
orders must be in to the church office by December 5. Those
books ordered through the church will be discounted.
Messiah Sing-A-Long: The Messiah Choral Society of Grand
Junction presents the ninth annual Messiah Sing-A-Long next
Sabbath afternoon, December 5, 2:00-5:00pm in the GJ SDA
church sanctuary. All are invited to come and enjoy.
LADIES WITH A PURPOSE:
“Women Helping Women” Fundraising for Latimer House, a
safe house for abused women and their children. HIKE with
Purpose has prepared a 2016 calendar with beautiful pictures of
our valley as a fundraising project. These will make great
Christmas gifts! Check out the sample calendar on the table in
the lobby, then place your order no later than December 1, for
guaranteed delivery by December 13. A second order will be
placed in mid-December for delivery before Christmas. If
you have pre-ordered, please make payment to Sandi Adcox
and put in her box. The cost is $20, with all proceeds going to
support the many needs at Latimer House. Call Sandi at 970-270-
1727 or Jaime at 970-250-4549 with any questions or to place an
order by phone.
Women’s Ministry Christmas Brunch: Reserve your spots,
and mark your calendar for this special Christmas brunch,
“Unwrapping the Gift of Christmas”, Sunday, December 13,
9:45am at the Redlands Community Center. Sign-up sheet is on
the table in the lobby. This is a special Christmas program,
focusing on the gift from the manger. Bring a dish to share and a
gift for the Latimer House “Women Helping Women” community
project (see “Needs List” in the lobby). Invite a friend and your
teenage daughters. NO child care will be provided. Call Sandi

Memorial Christmas Gift: Your deaconesses have chosen
Heifer International “Knitters Gift Basket” as a Christmas
Project. It includes four fuzzy animals (llama, alpaca, sheep
and an angora rabbit), costs $480.00 and will provide a family
with ample wool and endless opportunities to build better lives.
The first offspring of each animal is returned to Heifer
International to go to another family! This gift is being
dedicated to the memory of Deaconess Patti Kunze. If you
would like to help with this gift, mark your offering “Heifer
International”, send or take it to the church office or put it in
the offering plate by December 19.

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY
The Community service organization, Comfort
Keepers, will be delivering 300 meals to seniors in our
community who might otherwise be forgotten.
Volunteers are needed to help make these deliveries
on Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, 1:00-
4:00pm. To volunteer, please contact Sherry Verdieck

wonderful opportunity to serve in our community and
