Authorities of State Transport Inspectors Exercising Oversight
for Adherence to the Legislation and International Agreements of the Russian Federation
Inspect transport facilities and vehicles, freely access service and production premises (including airsides of airports (airdromes) of the transport complex subjects;
Check transport complex subjects exercising passenger and cargo carriage and other transport activity;
Detain baggage, cargo and mail containing articles and substances prohibited for air carriage;
Issue, as appropriate, to legal, physical persons and officials, orders to eliminate discovered deficiencies, including orders to ban or suspend the operation of the transport complex objects or means and check their execution.
Act as in-flight security officers in case of receiving information on breakdown security measures on board aircraft.

Bring persons and legal entities to administrative or criminal responsibility for their violation of security requirements
