Raw materials and primary products- 79% of Russian export

EU is the biggest FDI source (Cyprus, Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom)

Total accumulated foreign investment in Russia- 38.5 bln dollars (9,4 last year)

Oil from Russia composed 16 % (2002) of the EU consumption
