Circle Casting Place the stones around you in the following order: North stone, South stone, East Stone, West stone. Then fill in the places immediately clockwise of the quarter-stones in the same pattern (North-East, Sout-West, South-East, and North-West). That is all for the physical preparation of the area. Again, starting in the North, touch each of the quarter stones in the same order. When you get to the East stone, leave your hand there, and then continue with the West stone. Each time you touch one of the stones, send a flowing stream of energy clockwise through the circle of stones. When finished, there should be four streams of energy flowing through the stones like a circuit, in a clockwise motion. The nect step in casting the circl is to pull your hands from the East and West stones and place them on the ground with the index fingers and the thumbs touching the matching findgers of the other hand (forming a triangle shape). As you pull your hands from the stones, create an energetic pathway from your hands to the stones. This allows you to pull energy from the perimeter of the circle when forming the walls of the circle. Upon placing your hands on the ground, send out as much energy as possible so that it reaches the perimeter of the circle and splashes both up and down forming a column of you energy. After the column is formed, the energy should cascade back down on the inner wall of the column, meeting at the perimeter and filling the circle with a layer of energy beneath your hands. The circle is cast. Closing the Circle To close the circle, simply reverse the process of casting the circle. Various Compositions of Circles For a Balanced Circle of eight stones, use: Peridot, Onyx, Labradorite, Quartz, Amber, Carnelian, Moonstone, and Amethyst. For a Fire Circle of eight stones, use: Quartz, Obsidian, Citrine, Bloodstone, Quartz, Hemitie, Tiger's Eyes, and Carnelian. For an Air Circle of eigit stones, use: Amethyst, Labradorite, Rose Quartz, Opal, and Quartz at each quarter. For an Earth Circle of eight stones, use: Malachite, Rhodonite, Jasper, Moss Agate, Smokey Quartz, Amazonite, and two pieces of Quartz. For a Water Circle of eight stones, use: Moonstone, Lapic Lazuli, Aquamarine, Sodalite, Aqua Aura, Chryscolla, and tow pieces of quartz. For a Trance Circle, use: Quartz in each quarter, Lapis Lazuli, Amethyst, Sodalite, Moonstone, and Hemitite. Quarter Calling

When there is a want or need to cast a roper circle, all that need be amended is calling the quarters. When touching each quarter stone and sending energy through it, charge the energy with the appropriate elemental essence and say the call for that quarter.Earth be my stability. The flame warm my skin.Air, breath of life.Water, sustain me. Before closing the circle, thank the elements.
