    What is a run-on sentence?

    A run-on sentence means two sentences

    (independent clauses) are joinedincorrectly.

    There are two kinds ofrun-ons!

    1. Fused Sentence:Occurs when two sentences areincorrectly joined without punctuation.

    Example: The economy has improvedmany people still do not have jobs.
