    There are two kinds ofrun-ons!

    1. Fused Sentence:Occurs when two sentences areincorrectly joined without punctuation.

    Example: The economy has improvedmany people still do not have jobs.

    2. Comma Splice:Occurs when two sentences are incorrectlyjoined with just a comma.
