Gaynor, son of the late Mayor William J. Gaynor of New York, died yesterday at his home here. He was 53 years old. In his earlier years he was a re- porter on the did New York Eve- ning Sun.. A native of Brooklyn, he at tended Amherst College and en- tered the French Ambulance Corps in the world war. He was a member of the American Le- gion and was formerly a member of Troop A, First Cavalry, and of the Twenty-third Regiment, New York National Guard. He was a victim of shell shock in .the * and convalesced for a long period at his home in Smithtown, L. I. Later he married his nurse, who was Hiss Margaret Haskell. Also surviving are a son, Wil- liam J. Gaynor 3d> a daughter, Mrs. Robert Moore; a brother and five sisters. Funeral services will be held here on Monday and bur- ial will be in Green-Wood Ceme- tery, Brooklyn. Rev. William J. Donohue. The Rev. William J. Donohue, pastor of St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church in North Tarry- town, died yesterday in a hospi- tal in Clearwater, Fla., according to word received here. He was 73 years of age. Father Donohue was formerly pastor of the Church of the Sa- cred Heart in Port Jervis, N. Y. He was born in County Meath, Ireland, and studied at St. Fran- cis College In New York, St. Charles College in Maryland and St. Joseph's Seminary In Troy. After his ordination in 1894 he served as assistant pastor in the .Church of the Transfiguration, St. Malachy's and St. Brigid's churches, all of New York. Surviving Is Ills sister, Miss Margaret Donohue. Westport, Conn., Feb. IS.—Ra­fts W. Gaynor, son of the late Mayor William J. Gaynor of New York, died yesterday at his home here. He was 53 years old. In his earlier years he was a re­porter on the did New York Eve­ning Sun..

A native of Brooklyn, he a t tended Amherst College and en­tered the French Ambulance Corps in the world war. He was a member of the American Le­gion and was formerly a member of Troop A, First Cavalry, and of the Twenty-third Regiment, New York National Guard. He was a victim of shell shock in .the * and convalesced for a long period at his home in Smithtown, L. I. Later he married his nurse, who was Hiss Margaret Haskell.

Also surviving are a son, Wil­liam J. Gaynor 3d> a daughter, Mrs. Robert Moore; a brother and five sisters. Funeral services will be held here on Monday and bur­ial will be in Green-Wood Ceme­tery, Brooklyn.

Rev. Wi l l i am J . Donohue. The Rev. William J. Donohue,

pastor of St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church in North Tarry-town, died yesterday in a hospi­tal in Clearwater, Fla., according to word received here. He was 73 years of age.

Father Donohue was formerly pastor of the Church of the Sa­cred Heart in Port Jervis, N. Y. He was born in County Meath, Ireland, and studied at St. Fran­cis College In New York, St. Charles College in Maryland and St. Joseph's Seminary In Troy. After his ordination in 1894 he served as assistant pastor in the

.Church of the Transfiguration, St. Malachy's and St. Brigid's churches, all of New York.
