A selection of my Black & White Photographs Scanned from PrintsAll of the photographs of our travels included on our web-site predate my move to digital photography. They were all taken using Nikon film cameras, mostly my F3 & F4.

The prints were then scanned on to my computer.

I used basic colour print film for most of my photographs but I have always had a love of Black & White photography.

My interest in photography started when I was a young boy using a Kodak Box Camera and my father taught me to make B&W prints in our blacked out bathroom.

Until relatively recently, I continued to take and print selective photographs in B&W.

On our travels I always selected particular subjects to take in B&W.

Markets have always been one of my favourite subjects and I consider the prints I made of these Egyptian Market to be amongst my best.

As with the colour prints, I scanned these B&W prints on to my computer.
