I always preach in my messages throughout the world that if we want to build a better tomorrow, a stable economy, we need to merge businesses with society.

We have seen how important businesses are and true sustainable businesses should be both mentally and physical-ly �t. That is how we came up with the idea of Rashid Alleem Premier League.

The �rst season was very successful and held during the Holy month of Ramadan. In the second season we could see the motivation among the people as we saw a crowd of over 2,000 people on the �nal day visiting with their families. That is our message. We want the families to feel proud and the players to see that their beloved families are all in the stadium watching them play.

It was a dream for most of the players to be at the Sharjah International Cricket stadium which is famous world-wide, we came up with this tournament as it is one of the most loved games by the Asians. Our idea is to encourage the young generation to work towards a better tomorrow as they are the leaders of tomorrow.

I would also like to extend my gratitude to H.E. Mr. AbdulRahman Bukhatir and the team for their support to organ-ize this tournament.

ness towards health. A tangible and intangible collection of talent: leadership vision, intuitive wisdom, priceless emotions, uninhibited performance, tenacity and courage – are what essentially constitute

the spirit of the sports.

The Rashid Alleem Premier League (RPL), falls in line with the vision of spreading positive energy and healthy environment in our society which also adheres to the 7th goal, i.e.

GOOD HEALTH & WELL BEING of the 21 Alleem Sustainable Development Goals.

H.E Dr. Rashid Alleem, Founder & Executive Chairman of Alleem Research & Development Centre, is a well-known personality working in the �eld of

Sustainability. The organization was established on 17th November, 2015 with the mission; “Keep Challenging Tomorrow” and is a

result of H.E’s 25 years’ experience in charity, government and semi-government agencies and travelling to more than 60

countries preaching sustainability and inclusive growth.

Our motto, indeed, our very reason for existing, has been our love for sports. The RPL began its journey in May 2016, and

emerges stronger each and every year. Season one was battled between 9 teams which were nearly doubled in Season two as 16

teams came forward to take the challenge. Season three witnessed great heights as the number of teams were more than

double with 42 teams; Season 4 turned to be the most successful Season till date and also became UAE’s biggest corporate cricket

tournament where over 750 players participated in nearly 100 matches in a one month long tournament. RPL 2019 was held in

three di�erent grounds having its grand �nale at Sharjah Interna-tional Cricket Stadium on 15th of March 2019.
