ROXBURY ROAD RACE
November 6. 3.9 miles MidAutumn Championship: Longer Jeep Trail: Apple Lane to South Street to River Road to the jeep trail to Rocky Mountain Road to Apple Lane.
2021 Marathon and Half Marathon cancelled – instead we will host a non-points team relay race of 3 x Down Hemlock loops. (3 * 3.52 miles = 10.56 miles) Teams may be one, two or three runners.
November 20: 3.52 miles: Hemlock Down The Hill: Apple Lane to Rocky Mountain Road to Hemlock Road to Route 67 to South Street to Apple Lane.
November 25: The fourth annual 3.1-mile Thanksgiving Charity Race. $12.50 entry fee through electronic registration and $15 race-day registration; to benefit charities: Hemlock Road Down And Up: Apple Lane to Rocky Mountain Road to the turnaround on Hemlock Road to Rocky Mountain Road to Apple Lane. (Nonperishable food donations will be accepted.)
November 27: 3.7 miles: South Street and Ranney Hill. Apple Lane to South Street to Route 67. Up Ranney Hill Road. Painter Hill Road to Route 317 to South Street to Apple Lane.

Adult Morning Swim (lap swimming) – Shepaug Valley High School Pool – Monday thru Friday 6:45 to 7:30 a.m. – $20 per month—Call Washington Parks & Recreation (860-868-1519) for details. Karate – Tuesdays 6:30 p.m. Juniors & Adults (ages 7-70) – $80 per 10-wk. session, $60 for each immediate family member add-on – Lorraine Dunn-Laranetto, Instructor (860-355-3273). Bo staff training is available at 7:35pm for Ap-prentice Purple belts and above for an additional $10. *Note: this program takes place at Hurlburt Park during the summer. The study of folkloric creatures is considered by academics as pseudoscience because of the odd research and sources used in the study of this field. But, should it? Presented by Michael Panicello from CT’s Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). Michael Panicello has been the State Director of Connecticut MUFON since 2013. During this lecture we will examine the evidence for possible existence of these creatures in nature either at the present time or in the past.
