Justin Fox-Rothwell Rough edit evaluation This is the midway evaluation for my titanium music video I thought overall we worked well and the music video shots are of good quality I feel I have reached a stage where my rough edit is taking shape with some neat little cuts and fades these are used in the build-up and the lowering in the tempo of the song I also use different colours to establish different moods and feelings within the course of the song.

Rough edit evaluation

This is the midway evaluation for my titanium music video I thought overall we worked well and the music video shots are of good quality I feel I have reached a stage where my rough edit is taking shape with some neat little cuts and fades these are used in the build-up and the lowering in the tempo of the song I also use different colours to establish different moods and feelings within the course of the song.

Running away scene- in the running away scene I may use some of the clips I haven’t already used as I would like to use quicker cuts and fades so it can tell more of a story but a little bit quicker than I have currently. However I am pleased with my editing techniques used I used a lot of the cross dissolve And dip to black as these provided the quickest and smoothest cut while moving from shot to shot.

Train station scene-I used a lot of longer clips in this scene as I thought it would help this music video flow a lot smoother if I kept continual shooting I use cross dissolve and film dissolve to keep a smooth and fast look to the video this is also replicated in the tempo of the song, I wouldn’t really change anything in this scene as the few cuts and fades that I used keep in time and tempo with the song

London scene-
