  • rs-24Similar in design to the RS-22 except for a larger capacity. Two removable splash guards on each side.

    rs-48Similar to the model RS-24 but a larger and more robust version. Two removable splash guards on each side. Smallest available perforation for this model is 1.0 mm.

    rs-11The smallest model. Utilizes a direct drive with a flexible rubber connection and two permanently lubricated trunnion wheels to support the drum. Removable steel splash guard on one side.

    rs-22Model utilizes a carbon fiber poly chain drive system with no trunnion wheels and integral automatic overflow system. One removable splash guard on each side.

    roTo-Sieve aDvanTageSThe Roto-Sieve drum screen is an internally fed, self cleaning, inclined drum screen that separates particles and fibers from almost any liquid. The self-cleaning Roto-Sieve design was developed over four decades ago and has proven to deliver excellent performance. With over 4000 units installed globally, the Roto-Sieve’s unsurpassed quality, innovation, and reliability are well documented.

    With high reliability, a long service life, and low energy consumption, Roto-Sieve drum screens are an excellent investment. The innovative drive system on our larger models requires no lubrication or trunnion wheels which significantly lowers maintenance while also improving operational reliability. Due to its internal feed and circular perforations, Roto-Sieve offers the best separation that can be achieved mechanically. A fiber or hair is unlikely to orient itself at a right angle and against the water flow to pass through the perforation. This results in a high removal efficiency for hair or fibers while also eliminating the possibility of permanent blinding caused by the stapling of these materials.

    advanced designRoto-Sieve drum screens are manufactured in 304 or 316L

    stainless steel with five different models available for various flows. For all models, splash guards are provided with stainless

    steel covers. The friction driven rotating cleaner brushes are manufactured in a heat resistant material. The innovative drive

    system on our larger models requires minimal maintenance, no lubrication, and no trunnion wheels. Standard drum perforations

    are 0.8, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 3.0 mm with other perforations available upon request. All models except for the RS-11 are supplied

    with automatic overflow bypass systems and ventilation outlets as standard.

    Roto-Sieve drum screens consist of a perforated stainless steel drum (1) with internally fixed spiral flights. (2), The spiral flights transport the separat-ed particles out of the drum. The drum rotates by carbon fiber poly chains (3) and is driven by a gear motor (4). Incoming water is fed into the drum through an inlet pipe (5), which distributes the water evenly over a large area of the drum’s interior. During passage through the drum, the water is screened through the drum’s perforations and collects in the inclined trough (6) underneath. Separated particles are transported out of the drum through the screenings outlet (7). Dewatering continues throughout transport in the drum. To prevent clogging of the drum’s perforations, all models are fitted with a friction driven rotating brush (8) and a spray header with spray nozzles (9). Roto-Sieve drum screens are completely encased in removable splash guards (10) and equipped with a ventilation exhaust (11).
