Rossa l l Summer School i s an intens ive Engl i sh language prog ramme combined with fun act iv i t ie s and

cul tura l excur s ions . I t r uns throughout the summer hol idays on our s tunning coas ta l campus with plenty of

space to explore. We recommend that each pupi l s tays for a minimum of two weeks (Saturday - Saturday) . We

teach in smal l c la s ses (no more than 10 s tudents per c la s s ) ensur ing each pupi l receives individual a t tent ion.

DurationChoose as many weeks as you wish (2 weeks minimum recommended)

ClassesMaximum 10 s tudents per c la s s organi sed according to language abi l i ty and age.

EnglishYou wi l l receive 20 hour s of Engl i sh tui t ion per week. By the end of your s tay a t Rossa l l Summer School you wi l l have:

• Improved your reading ski l l s and wr i t ing abi l i ty

*Please note arrival and departure dates are Saturday to Saturday. Any other day will incur an additional charge. This does not include the £100 administration fee, airport transfers or optional city trips (please see application form).

Recreational ActivitesRossall Summer School runs an exciting programme of recreational activities, suitable for children of all ages, as par t

of the Summer School programme. After a morning of studying, pupils can enjoy an afternoon of sport and activities.

In the evenings there will be a social programme designed to build fr iendships, try out new skills and enhance the

enjoyment of the Summer School.

Accommodation and MealsWhilst at Rossall Summer School you will live in comfortable single or double rooms in our supervised boarding

houses. Each house contains a TV, DVD player, kitchenette for making snacks and dr inks, games facilities and

computers with internet access. You will eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in our Har ry Potter-style Dining Hall each

day.

Campus FacilitiesRossall School is located on a 160-acre site,

ideally situated on the impressive coastline

of North West England. Beautiful evening

sunsets are admired from our very own

beach by pupils from all over the world.

The spacious campus has extensive sports

and recreation facilities which include a

heated swimming pool, squash courts, tennis

courts, Fives courts, a modern all-weather

sports pitch, a multi-use games area, two

indoor sports halls, extensive sports pitches

and a fitness room.

ExcursionsWe have an exciting and diverse range of excursions as par t of the Summer School package. As well as providing a

great day out, they will broaden your cultural, histor ical and geographical understanding of the United Kingdom.

Travel, food and group activities are included in the course fees. Additional dr inks, refreshments, souvenirs and

personal shopping are extra and should be paid for by the student.

We will go on one excursion per week and destinations are likely to include:

• The exciting city of Liverpool with its tour ist attractions, new shopping area Liverpool One, and The Beatles

Story Museum

• The fashionable city of Manchester with its shops and football clubs, including the world famous Manchester

United Football Club

• The picturesque Lake Distr ict with its outstanding natural beauty

• The histor ical city of Chester with its ancient Roman her itage

• Shopping at the Trafford Centre, Manchester

• The tree-top adventure park, Go Ape

• The shopping village of Cheshire Oaks
