    ICE SKATING

    SKATE DONATIONS

    WELCOME

Ice skating season is here! Grades 4 - 8 will be given a few opportunities to skate and will be escorted and supervised by their teachers to McGregor Park Arena on Lawrence Avenue just west of Kennedy Road. All skating will be happening in the afternoon following lunch. If you happen to have any old / used skates at home, the school would appreciate any donations. Thank you!

    WINTER CLOTHES

With the colder weather arriving, please

ensure your child(ren) are dressed properly

    with warm coats, boots, mittens/gloves,

hats and scarves or some kind of neck

warmer, as well as a second pair of shoes.

Students will be asked to change their

shoes upon entering the school. It is

always a good idea to have an extra pair

of socks or pants in their school bag.

Please label all of your child’s clothing for

    easy identification.

PARKING at the Church Rectory and

Behind the Church Safety for all is paramount at St Rose of Lima. We kindly ask you to please not park in the drop off zones leading into the school yard, this has caused some serious concerns and very close car accidents with other cars and pedestrians. We encourage you to use the parking lots in the back and near the rectory should you require to walk your child to the school yard. PLEASE AVOID parking in the staff parking lot and stopping in the bus lanes or handicap parking (unless you have a permit)... There is limited parking for our over 60 staff working in the building and with snow, parking spaces are even more limited. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
