Domestic Violence: Referrals to Family Justice Center, Family Law Self Help Center, and others. Legal Assistance: Referrals to Pro-bono Legal Assistance, Catholic Charities, Ayuda, and others. (Joint program with Judy Center) More than 100 kids benefited from Thanksgiving and Holiday Gift donations between November and December Every week 35 children receive smart sacks from Manna (except on snow days/Summer). About 50 children and adults received winter jackets. 7 children from RTES are being chosen to take advantage of A Taste of ballet class at NHE Sponsored by Maryland Youth Ballet and also were invited with their families to see a ballet performance. 10 kids and their parents are enjoying the new cooking class by Crossroads Food Network Joint programs with Judy Center and the PTA Field trip to Butlers Farm Brookside Garden of Lights during holidays International Day at RTES Mothers Day Celebration Adult Courses FY2015/2016 Some of the courses/classes being offered during this year : English for Daily Living & Conversation Preventing Obesity and Diabetes Excercise and fitness Child abuse Prevention Special presentation on Immigration Empowering classes for our parents Other assistance Food Clothing Furniture Holiday Assistance Upcoming Class: Spring 2016 Preventing Obesity and Diabetes Mothers and children learn how to eat/cook healthy meals and snacks and discover that loosing weight could be also fun! * A Special collaboration with LTL Nurses SBC/RTES and the UM- EFNEP program.
